I've never downloaded or even tried What's App yet and for some reason, I don't feel the need to start now.
Yeah, I dig that, and there are a lot of advantages to city living, for sure.
I think you crazy cats will have a blast. London has a motor museum and.... probably some other stuff too.
Ok, well a 2 bed flat is still doable, but probably not in West London. Is there any reason you're looking there? It is the most expensive part. I pay £850 a month for a large 3 bed flat in North East London.
What area of the city are you going to be working in? I used to live in Kentish Town and fire £1400 you could probably get a nice two bed there. Where I used to live was a twenty minute walk from Regents Park (best park in London imo), ten minute walk to Hampstead Heath (massive wild green space), 15 minutes on the tube to the city, ten minutes on the tube to the west end, 15 minutes on the overground to Hackney etc. Amazing links and relatively quiet yet with craziness a ten minute walk away if that's what you're after.
Facebook without the bullshit, great stuff.
:'D
If I go there I'll work around Hammersmith, that's the reason I'm looking for a flat around here. I really don't like transportation and if I can reduce it as best as I can by paying a bit more I'm ok with that. I looked where you live and that sounds nice but that's one hour from hammersmith, I could not handle this. :/
I loved Regent's Park when I visited it... 14 years ago?
But yeah from studying the maps, London seems very green once you're out of the center. But again it's all about transportation. :/

You've learned nothing from Over The Top.I got violated at the Gang Beasts stall
Ah man that sounds great! I actually forgot about that Rockin Kebab, I'm pretty excited I put A Hard Road on there, speaking of basslines. Is very fun cheers mate. Just got a new bass which is my first one with active pickups and it sounds propa beastly. Currently working on new songs which feels like dragging a rusty nail over my brain. But they'll be awesome, I have faith
I was listening to your Rockin Kebab mix the other day btw, that's a classy mixtape right there, was thoroughly entertained.
Well done. The hive mind Sploatee has already completed this. The mortals suspect nothing.
I have to admit I still don't understand the obsession (looked her up) but I admire you all the same.Mornin' cherub. I'm still hung up on Katya Sambuca and this one chick in my rotating wallpapers that I really ought to reverse image search. So round. So perfect. Yum.
Oh yeah this is the spice to my fillet. Here have Stephen Encinas - Disco IllusionListened to this on the bus on my way to work mate, lovely stuff. Have some classic Richie in reply:
Richie Havens - Going Back To My Roots (Lamont Dozier cover)
Would listen many times over. Do it, it's a great idea. I've still got the mixes, they get play every now and then. Was thinking recently about doing a PFG and Friends mixtape, I think I've played with enough great bands that I could put together 45 mins of us lot.
Rad is in my rotation with rules, great, awesome, excellent, fantastic etc. I noticed more people started saying it again a few years ago around here. Maybe just within my friends though.I still love how Americans call things 'rad'.
Tuneage right there Acrid, warm, warmer, disco! Love how ancient the vinyl sounds too, that crackle. Daps, that might dip your biscuit too.Oh yeah this is the spice to my fillet. Here have Stephen Encinas - Disco Illusion

Gf on shift this weekend and the next six months :'(
Looking at the positives, more Destiny time plus I've found my headset so will hopefully be bothering fellow ps4 Destiny players on Saturday and Sunday.
Daps or Sploat, are got around? I need some help as languishing at lvl 22.
Phew. Just got broadband connected at the new flat, apologies for lengthy radio silence there.
Fourth address in 12 months, and hoping this one is at least semi-permanent. It's got a fig tree - that's a plus.
Really torn between tidying up/junking old crap versus playing DS Zelda which I got for my birthday.
Was an interesting birthday - I'd spent all year thinking I was 58 but it turns out I've only just turned 57. A few more years of that and I'll end up the same age as you lot.

You've learned nothing from Over The Top.
Pretty much that, if I've missed a chunk I just scan for pics and keywords to see if it's of interest and then jump in and call noffles a dick or something.
I should be. Destiny is taking up all of my gaming time. All of it. The timer shows 4 and half days of game time. I might be doing the raid on Saturday evening though.
Pro tip: Don't be a minge.
I'd never be that harsh mate, you'll get some minge at some point. And stop being the only pussy you see in your life?
It is kind of a brainwashing disease, the person has to be deprogrammed out of it sometimes or at least have a good empathy exercise if they're on the benign end of it.I find it weird how the papers describe Islamic 'radicalisation'. It's like a contagious disease.
'She was radicalised on the way to Bristol.'
'We need to spot radicalisation early.'
Does anyone lease/hire their own personal car?
Is it a bad move to go down this route rather than financing or loan?
I'm not sure how much time played I have but it devours my evenings. Tried to shepard some folks new to the Raid around last night, got stuck on a boss myself and a previous group destroyed in minutes. I was not prepared for the burden of responsibility that leadership entails.
Did beat the raid with Kamina and recently though Sploat.

In other news some strange men were in my downstairs bathroom today, much crashing and banging. I hope they are plumbers. When I get back home I may have a new toilet handle and shower cabinet, or I might find all my shit's been stolen.

I don't know how the news or papers nowadays frame it, have stopped paying attention to them in the regular formats as it's bad for my mental health (can develop learned helplessness) and just stick to Al Jazeera or Reuters or even The Daily Show. People watch the news and can jump to generalisation conclusions because there often isn't enough time to discuss a matter in a comprehensive manner unless if it's for 25-40 min in a documentary like an Al Jazeera/VICE/Channel 4 piece and the 24/7 news cycle doesn't allow for that insight. I've yet to encounter someone involved with such things though, but it's nice to know the majority of Muslims and muslim countries around the world are opposed to ISIS/ISIL/IS.
Are the roots of radicalisation online? was an enlightening watch by Al Jazeera last year. It had some experts on the matter, and an ex-radicalised person but now intelligence analyst.
BBC Panorama: From Jail to Jihad was aired on May 2014, another great watch.
You can find out your game time by using the rather fabulous app (seriously, it's great. You can even change equipment in-game by using it). Read it, be shocked and realise we are basically the new form of World of Warcraft addicts. Nobody likes us, we don't care
The raid is so far ahead of the rest of the PvE encounters in the game it's ridiculous (even though I do like four or five of the story missions and one or two of the strikes). I played with an American team and got up to Atheon but it took five hours and we were all exhausted, then I fell asleep the next night so never got to finish it!
I mostly seem to play PvP now. Clash is my current favourite. Got to get that rep!
A new toilet handle, eh?! Luxurious.
When are you and other people gonna drop Destiny?
All I hear about on twitter is people being sarcastic of how insubstantial the new content is, but what are players waiting for exactly?
The Raid is head and shoulders above the rest of the game though. it's like they figured out how to create a challenge that didn't simply mean "more, tougher enemies on this strike you've done twelve times". The next Raid they're adding is on the moon which already sounds nightmarish.
I do pity the people out there who don't have six friends to play with or a community to turn to; they're basically locked out of doing it.
If it had been me I would have put a messageboard section in the Tower where people can organize teams of randomers without all the fuss.
I did download the app but haven't checked time played yet.
I don't, but I've looked into it before. Wasn't tempted.
One trick they use is to crank up the "guaranteed future value", which sounds like it is a benefit to you, but it isn't - that's the amount you'd have to pay them to buy the vehicle at the end of the lease period so you actually want it as *low* as possible.
After playing with my friends and yourself last night I totally agree, the raid is by far the greatest thing in destiny ALL bosses should have been done like this, and strikes should have been like this too!
thanks for joining us last night btw, was handy having someone around that could give us advice.
I was trying my absolute best to be the oracle slayer and also trying to hold them together and focused :\
Really looking forward to going back and killing that boss tonight.
Thought I might be out tonight but I'm in so give me a shout if you like. Need to finish that mofo after coming so close last time.
Took 3 attempts to finish TheRaid 2 just kept falling asleep. When your main dude has personality of a toenail but good at punching stuff don't have a film where you spent nearly an hour just talking about shit people don't care about. Even the fights dragged on the whole thing just kept going and going.

I feel all left out now.
Not even an invite 😢
Yeah I will think we'll be on from 8
Yeah dude so close and then he enraged. I have been emailing the others today about last night just generally saying shoot oracles as a team and always be moving at the back....
As I watched my stream back and saw a lot of special Olympic like plays.
Can't wait though, Destiny raids are a hell of a drug!
Sorry I was doing it with my friends and Dapper happened to be around so invited him.
It doesn't mean I do not care!
I seriously feel sorry for you right now.
Goddamn...
1 was wayy more focused and knew that the plot didn't need be over complicated. Simple set up and execution yeah the fight rooms bit bland but they never out stayed its welcome. The end fight in 2 is so dragged out it becomes laughable it should been over when Rama is sliced behind his knee cap nope it drags on for 15 more minutes.
Uco was cool but seriously in this film you can remove 50 mins from the leaving prison to Bejo declaring war and it will have zero impact on film.
I understand. I'll hold back my tears for now. 😄
It is brilliant though. I was guarding the sync plates in the bit before Atheon and then was the relic holder during the final time travel-ly bits. Amazing. I love how it doesn't tell you what to do. It's all quite eerie imo and the idea and lore of the Vault is just fantastic.
Don't feel too bad.
This is a picture equivilent of what dapper was having to deal with last night.
I hate my friends some times.
If you thought that was bad, I'd hate to see you go through the first movie. There's has barely any plot in that one as it is.Took 3 attempts to finish TheRaid 2 just kept falling asleep. Spoiler tags are cool.
I don't know!
I love big sci fi and despite the in game storytelling being comically dreadful, the lore, enemy factions and locations are fascinating.
The PvP is just simple great slapstick fun. Being able to dance at any time just takes the aggro out of it for me and its a lot friendlier to newbies imo.
The endgame PvE is fun too, provided you play the right content - there are enough 'heroic' options out there to give a decent challenge. And the raid is just flat out fantastic- tense, atmospheric and complete in a way the rest of the game isn't.
There is enough depth there for me too - the types of weapon damage, the use of scarce resources, factions and bounties - I like the part of the game that encourages you to be hyper efficient with your levelling (do a bounty and a strike at the same time!).
Oh and the loot - when you get it - is great. Some really interesting and unique weapons that are fun to use. Speeding around Mars with two others all carrying revolvers and shooting giant robotic soldiers jumping from drop ships into the sand - what's not to like?
Ultimately though, if the core gameplay hooks you, there's enough apparatus around it to get you deeply addicted.
/Destiny defence ends
Theres nothing new to do from levels 20-26. Its a desert. Players get through by grinding reputation or literally walking in circles to farm upgrade materials. Its no wonder many people preferred to fire for hours into a loot cave full of quickly respawning low-level enemies, or farm enemies at mission checkpoints.
If theres any point in Destiny where the real game starts, its level 26. You have to walk through a mile of shit to get to it, but the Vault of Glass raid is by far the high point of the game. In most respects it is a different game: the loot makes sense, players talk to each other, and Peter Dinklage never says anything. The boss fights are a feast of MMO mechanics unseen in the rest of the game, from debuffs and cleansing effects to enrage timers.
All of the adventure you can find in Destiny is there in that raid. Learning how to cleanse your team with the shield relic. Taking a long plunge off a high cliff and air-braking at the last second. The electronic honking of the gorgons in the stealth section. Watching people plunge to their deaths in the jumping puzzle. That teleporting bullshit the final boss does.
But the real game, at least for now, is just that 2- or 3-hour dungeon. The six-level stretch of boredom that precedes it is a steep price for admission. And Bungie have not even built matchmaking for the raid, the best part of their game, making third-party sites necessary.

looks like EGX is going to be in Birmingham next year :\
