Okay reading back on stuff I missed. Let's see...

We need a Rimmer.

We have quite enough smegheads already.

Anyway, while we're talking about deviancy, now seems a good time as any to come out as trans.

So er yeah. Bit awkward given my post history but hey. Yep. I transitioned long time ago and thought I'd keep it super quiet but it just feels dishonest and like I can't be authentic and myself and all of those buzz words.

So yep. There you go. So you now need to be politically correct and all of that and treat me differently or else I'll report you to a mod.

Quite a big deal for me, this, so pls be nice! I've been 'in the closet' for er what 5 years now? Something like that.

This changes absolutely nothing about the way I see you Sploat. In fact I respect you more for making the brave decision you made. Can't imagine how hard it must have been for you to do so. :)

Serious question now guys: when you're saying goodbye to a female, say a relation of your SO, or similar, and they go for the hug/kiss on the cheek thing when you all say your goodbyes, what do you actually do? Just the hug (usually me)? Land a peck on the cheek? Lather them your saliva?

I've realised I almost always do the first, and I reckon I'm just being an awkward British cunt? Or is what I do the norm?

Maturity, bitches.
I get down on knee, kiss them on their ring finger and say "until next time my fair maiden" and then gallop off on my horse.

It depends, is the relation hotter and/or younger than your SO?

Depends how close you are.
With zs mum I do the non contact cheek kiss, with my best friend Sarah, I normally give her a peck on her forehead, most other people just get a hug

we're all listing our sexual kinks and cy started us off with enjoying taking care of women that shit their diapers so he likes children or old people

everyone is afraid to ask
I was pretty much asked to explain what DD/LG is, so I did. Not once was anything mentioned about shitty diapers, nor children or old people. Just about being a knight.

what happened?

My partner's mum has been ill with and finally passed to lung cancer recently.

I have had a few absences (requested, I swapped shifts with people, which they granted) to deal with it all, supporting my partner, etc.

Yesterday was her funeral, and no one could cover my shift. I was crying because of the day and obviously my partner was in bits. They said I had to come in if I couldn't find cover, but I didn't go in. There was no way I was leaving my partner in that state, no matter how much I like my job.

I kiss everyone. Most people get a big smacker on the cheek, some lucky cunts get a peck on the lips.

If I don't kiss you I either don't feel I know you well enough (I know most people well enough after one or two meetings) or I really don't like you.

Surely they can't suspend you (and without pay, to kick you when you're down) if you're grieving or supporting someone who is clearly in no fit state to be left alone? I mean, fair enough, you should've just told them outright you're not going in, but that's a really shitty thing to do on their part. Is there anything you can do in regards to taking it higher?

well that's understandable. you can/should get grievance leave but I don't know the details.
there will be loads more jobs, don't worry about that.

Most companies only offer bereavement leave for direct relatives. If you aren't entitled to it and you don't either book a holiday or get someone to cover your shift then chances are it will simply go down as AWOL.

It might seem a bit harsh given the circumstances but that's how the cookie crumbles.

Regardless, my condolences to you and your fella.

I'm 19 on Wednesday.

Guys, I'm looking for some new casual trainers/shoes etc to buy as a third pair alongside my Converse and Vans. Anyone know of any good stuff?

I saw some Fred Perry plimsolls but wasn't too sure about their quality.

Really sorry to hear that Vash. Unfortunately it doesn't come under bereavement leave but they could have been more compassionate about it. My bloke's Nan died a couple of weeks ago and I should have booked a days holiday for the funeral, but my boss said I could just have the day off, I'm lucky they're really understanding but they know I've worked my ass off for them recently.

I wouldn't worry too much, I'm sure they're just going through the motions because they have to, HR and all that. Hopefully they'll just let you off with a warning.

Do you have a limit on how much you want to spend? I'd recommend a decent pair of Docs if you're willing to go a little higher than normal. If not, just go for another pair of Converse. Can never have enough Converse.

That's awful. Just be there for him right now and sort out the rest later. I hate to say it, but it's only an entry-level retail job. Don't worry about it - there are plenty out there.

Looking at £50, willing to push to £60 if I really have to.

I was likely just to grab another pair of Converse. I own high top brown leather ones, burgundy ones and low top arctic camo ones, so I'll have to see what else they may have instore.

Sorry.

I know today has been a pretty high-quality day, so I'll just say this and then change the subject.

DARK SOULS IS THE BEST GAME EVER AND GOING BACK TO IT IS LIKE GOING TO VISIT AN OLD FRIEND WHO WAS THE BEST FRIEND BUT HAS NOW BECOME A BIT LESS OBTUSE AND DOESN'T PUNCH YOU IN THE FACE "FOR A LAUGH" EVERY TEN MINUTES

Bloody hate Mondays. and Monday evenings.

Also #NOPEAS. They're horrible. My heart sinks when I get a spring roll or samosa or gyoza or whatever and there's bloody peas in it. Keep them out!

From start to finish? My hero, you must tell me how grueling it was.

All the way through (well, apart from the 258 minute track at the end).

Honestly, it wasn't my cup of tea. It sounded a bit like the backing tracks for a bunch of 80s singers sans vocals.

The nuances of the genre are lost on me, I'm afraid; so the similar sounds and tempos made it feel like the same artist all the way through, right up until Yppah, which was easily my favourite track. FM Attack was quite nice in the middle too. Unfortunately, nothing really grabbed me.

I will be keeping 0/12, I'm afraid. Sorry, bub.

Who's next?

There was a 258 minute track at the end? Woops.

Oh well, those tracks are distinct to my ears but I listen to that kind of thing all the time. Like all great art it takes time and a little training to truly appreciate. One day I will find someone who is ready to be converted.

Yeah. It was 12 minutes till you actually played it, then it went to 258.

Yeah, it's completely out of my comfort zone. I'm a rocker when it comes to the crunch. I'm pretty sure you'd not enjoy my selection.

I enjoy a bunch of stuff so never say never. I wanted the mixtape to have a smooth progression so it's mostly from one or two similar genres and ended up sounding perhaps too similar.

But I had the impression you were a rock person and less inclined to the beeps and boops so I'm not surprised.

Meat, that Yppah tune was the only track I really dug on daps' mix too.

Kindred bro.

In Electric talking lesbian relations regarding Spridge with Eilidh and Daniella, it's pretty cool. I should really go home but hmmm...

I should probably give yours another listen dap. If I recall it was such a smooth transition I didn't even notice one song switching to another. My problem is I tend to listen to music in the background so it's very easy for me to tune out and not really pay attention to it if it's 1. not one of my favourite 2. so awful it stuns me.

Morning y'all. I'm feeling a general creeping dread today. Not sleeping much didn't help didn't help but is my own fault for thinking Drum's Not Dead would be 'yeah! great to fall asleep to!'

How's everyone doing?

Pretty good this morning sploatee, thanks for asking! I was out quite late for a school night but managed to keep myself on the level. I feel pretty fresh to be fair.

Eilidh and Daniella had a blast at Wine Club (apparently this is now a new thing we do, we now have Wine Club Club) but they both got pretty wankered; Daniella started crying, Eilidh started squinting, I laughed into my beer. Eilidh's wine knowledge is very impressive though!

Drums Not Dead is the worst Liars album though, it's all about They Threw Us All In A Trench And Stuck A Monument On Top mane.
