There wasn't much to get excited about except for the amount of characters on screen

The game has recieved a big artistic upgrade since then (among other things).

If you look at the screens SSX posted above, I think it will be difficult to disagree that they looked very unfinished and massively less impressive than the footage released recently. Even more so if you remember what the old video looked like.

I played it with my chinese room mate (from Hong kong) for a year and a half, he still demands to play it every time i see him :lol, it was literally his favourite thing in the world...and this is a guy who had to put with with racism all his life growing up in London.
