So Pop and the Pirates game don't seem to have made it. Great lineup, though!
 
Downloading Toki Tori.... 900 is odd.
Would have preffered 800, but 900 is stil better :D - only cause you can't get much for the odd 100 points.
Also gunna d/l Dr. Mario demo... see if its worth the 1000. After that Lost Winds :D

Not made it downstairs yet...

No pirate game so I won't be buying tonight, but that's a nice selection. Depending on mood I might pick up Lost Winds tomorrow as good but short would suit me at the moment.

UK points are £7 for 1,000 though so I guess everything is more expensive as usual... :D
 
I thought those games take up much more place, so 290 blocks are fine. I thought it was 500 each :D

The download is somewhat slow here, Flower Mario runs 3 times without any coin and then he gets 1, 3 times without and again :D

Woah, that is a GREAT launch line-up. I really thought some would be missing from the list :)

But this is a shitty time for launching imo, I really need to get some sleep (midnight). Hmm, should I buy Wii Points x3 and get LostWinds, Dr Mario, Toki Tori, Star Soldier R and FF:CC:MlaaK (damn, almost the entire launch list) OR you know, learn for exams. Tough choise. ;)

PS. I don't get why some of you are doing the "back up on SD card" thing.. Why? You can just delete the game and redownload it as many times as you want right. Save files would still be there, I guess there could be a time where you want to back up a save file but why the game itself? Seems like a lot of hassle while redownloading it seems far easier.
 
Woah, 496 blocks left after downloading all the games but TV Show King. Good thing I decided to transfer all the VC games I had to my SD card right before launch.
 
WiiWare is suprinsingly uninteresting to me. :-( Plus, I can't understand why Nintendo doesn't release a HDD. Are they stubborn or is it a technical hurdle?

I'm moving soon plus my parents, siblings, inlaws, and friends don't all have WiFi. I was bummed when I went to transfer Contra and it wasn't saved on SD so my dad and I couldn't play it last Christmas.

Games I know I want to play exactly here I only delete. But games I could perhaps play with friends (Mario Kart 64, DK Jr Math, Columns, Warios Woods) I backup to my always-in SD card so I can reuse them in a friends house when I brought my Wii with me and I've got no connection to the internet.

Weather and News, you can't, but the interwebs channel can be deleted by going to the Wii button, Data management, channels.
 
Yeah I understand those reasons. But I'm talking about backing up everything just for "cleaning out your fridge", to make room for WiiWare downloads. I don't understand that :) (yeah yeah unless you plan to go somewhere and bring your wii and have no internet connection but that isn't the point :))

Why does Toki Tori not support the d-pad on the classic controller? *explodes*

It's great that most of these games support the classic controller though, and many support the gamecube controller.

Gah, I have the demo as well I'm afraid. Ah well, we've registered as friends so if either of us get the game any time soon (I will in about two weeks after my exams) we'll be ready to play!

I was getting LostWinds all the way, but now I'm torn between that and Toki Tori, because Toki Tori looks like much more value for less money >_<
 
1,000 points for a game I have at least twice already when the DEMO doesn't even let me see the graphics is a bit mean. Sent the DEMO to a friend without realising it wouldn't even show you a rolling play mode demo. oops!

Lost Winds was calling to me, and so was FF:CC:MLAABOHICA (the announced micro-transactions are already 100 points more than the price of the game - OUCH! - still tempted though) but I want the Pirate game which is bound to be 1,000 points and that only leaves me with 1,300.

Anyone know what time the Wii Points Cards from Wii Stars shop adds it's cards in? Used to be early morning. If I could grab another 1,000 i'd be sorted.

Mind you I was saving some points for Super Metroid...
