OK computer is one of my favorit albums

does anyone know when the new album will be out and have they released a name for it yet?

I don't know why Amnesiac gets so much hate. It was recorded at the same time as Kid A, and I consider them to be Disc 1 and 2 of the same album. If they had picked the best, say, 13 or 14 songs from both albums combined (and the live version of "Like Spinning Plates"), it would have been a record even better than the mighty OK Computer. As it stands, both are good (but slightly less than perfect), and Kid A is stronger as a whole.

Hail To The Thief has high points which are every bit as good as stuff they've done before, but the low points are kind of frustrating. Still, it's nowhere near a BAD album -- Radiohead fans were just spoiled by how good the previous releases were.

I love The Bends. But, I really like all the experimentation done by the band in OK Computer. People just love trying to interpret the damn thing though. But, I think there will always be one song that people will identify with more than others on the album though.

Kid A and Amnesiac, to me, are very complimentary to each other. As I suspect they were meant to be. Although, there is something more emotional in Amnesiac than there was in Kid A.

Hail to the Thief I've grown to like. But, unlike Kid A and Amnesiac, it's not the kind of album you can relax to all that much. My favorite tracks on that are 2+2=5, Sail to the Moon, Backdrifts, Go to Sleep, There There, A Punch-Up at a WWedding and A Wolf at the Door.

I'm hoping their next album will be more in the vein that OK Computer, Kid A and Amnesiac set.

OK Computer > HttT > The Bends >>>>> Kid A > Pablo Honey > Amnesiac

Although Amnesiac does have Life in a Glass House, which is one of my favorite Radiohead songs. And OK Computer doesn't have any of my favorites songs. Go figure.

The Bends is Radiohead's best offering. And one of the greatest records ever made. The rest of their catalogue is decent, but The Bends is pure joy.
