red octane needs to get a flying V released so i can buy that too! that cherry red one coming dec 12th isnt worth 50 bucks IMO. i could do that shit myself.

This game won't teach you to play guitar, but it definitely helps with some of the skills (rhythm, independent finger control) and finger strengthening. And it's giving me the itch to pick up my real guitar and give it another shot.

Yeah, I know plenty of people who can rock Guitar Hero and can't do shit on a DDR pad. You're all good.

I'm finally making my way through the expert mode now that I've figured out how do to pull offs. I kept goofing them up before, but now they're starting to click and I can at least survive the solos in some of the later songs...

Such a damn great game. I need to get better at it though. Even though I finished Amplitude on highest difficulty setting, this is giving me so much trouble on higher difficulty levels.

Interest is slowly dying scouring for a 360, and I've recently had a PS2 renaissance playing DQ8, Sam Warriors XL, and MGS3 hard mode. Have gone to a few karaoke parties the past few weekends and this game has come across my mind everytime.
