YepQuestion:
Since the forum is rather slow now, does anyone think a new post every 3 or 4 days as new rule would be better than the 150 posts rule?

I'm up for it!I think 3-4 days might be a bit aggressive, but maybe not. If enough people are up for a rule change, then I don't mind to update the OP accordingly.

The slower pace is nice because ads stay in view longer and BST is now more than just a handful of sellers that are constantly spamming the same ads over-and-over-and-over again.
It's super easy to check back three pages (if you're on 50 posts per page), less pages if you have a different view, and BST ads have a much higher visibility this way.
What about a reduction to 100 posts? That doesn't seem quite as aggressive as a change to a time limit.
Sounds good to me.What about a reduction to 100 posts? That doesn't seem quite as aggressive as a change to a time limit.

The limit has now officially been reduced to 100 posts.
It's still going to take quite a while to get there, but at least it's something. It's really insane how much this thread has died.
I agree. Used to be multiple pages came and went over the course of a couple of days. Now...just a few posts come across. I've got a huge amount of stuff to post, but thinking maybe I'll just end up taking it to eBay.
And the slower pace means more eyes on any ad you do post.
Just because you keep saying it doesn't make it true.
Look at the change in transactions / feedbacks on the feedback thread.
There have been 5 transactions in the past 11 days.
That's just a case of less users in total and less appealing offers.
If there were no repost limits and people just did it whenever [...] And those who didn't post six plus times per page would be ignored, while the buyers that are here wouldn't even bother reading because it would always be the same set of posters flogging the same items.
I don't understand comments like this.
If you don't post it, you're never going to sell it.
And the slower pace means more eyes on any ad you do post.
this thread is dead, just like this place, my last post in this thread was on November 14, 2 weeks ago and in two weeks there been only two pages, insane.
