Okay, I made sure I was clear of the 150 post rule this time, so I'll make it count.
I'm a school teacher with just a little under a month before school starts. This is my third year, and one of the long overdue projects I've been doing is creating a classroom library.
I am searching thrift stores, garage sales, and used book sales online for any and all children's books around the third grade level, or maybe even a little below.
If you have the most awesome thrift store around you and would do me a favor, or if you just happen to have some children's books laying around, it would really help me out.
Anything with educational value to it for the age range of 7-9. Picture books with text are okay as long as it's not like a bedtime story. Plenty of third graders still need to read these. What I try to stay away from is toy-based junk books with little educational value. Little readers about science are great, like a book on frogs. Chapter books are also great, but keep in mind that books over 300 pages tend to skew towards middle grades.
I'll pay a reasonable cost for bulk used books + shipping + extra for your trouble.
LMK.
