And apparently this was a thing he did well before becoming Bubbles.
Bummer I liked the show in the beginning.
Unsure. I went down the hole yesterday and apparently he's been this way for a long ass time. (Halifax Reddit)Never watched the show but 2017 and it says he still can't visit their school would make them very young?? Or is that just generic wording and they might not be a student?
Bummer. Sucks that he's a piece of shit, but I don't do cancel culture.
I do hope justice is served though.
? Huh? I'm still gonna watch the show, how's that cancel culture? The fact that if he did sexually assault someone then I'm fine with him getting time for sexual assault? So then you do do cancel culture.

So, to you, cancel culture is people getting the time for their crime?
......I see you don't have a full understanding of what cancel culture is/was.Cancel culture is people doing shitty things seeing consequences for their actions.
Dude's going to lose his job, no longer work, and face jail time. He's cancelled.

Cancel culture was people having their livelihood ruined over different opinions, things said on social media in the past, essentially thinking in a way that didn't align with the zeitgeist. Someone doing time for committing a crime is called justice, and that concept predates cancel culture by at least two or three minutes, hell, maybe even a week or two.
He may effectively be cancelled, that's all well and good, but what I'm referring to is if he did sexually assault someone then he needs to do time. I don't give a fuck about him losing his job and not working, nor would I ever support such a thing, but incarceration is required for those who commit heinous crimes. If that's supporting cancel culture, (it's not), then every cop, lawyer, and judge has also supported it from the very conceptualization of the justice system, (they haven't.)
Ya know,It's not that I don't have a full understanding, it's that we disagree on what cancel culture is. And that's fine.
Ya know,EviLore was a victim of cancel culture as well for something he didn't even do. Do you think he was a "person who did a shitty thing and saw consequences" or do you think that, just maybe, cancel culture sometimes takes on a life of its own and becomes more akin to a lynching than justice?
Personally, I think the latter happens to be the case. Far too many people have suffered from the effects of cancel culture without any proof of their wrongdoings. It's gross. Innocent until proven guilty, we would all do well to remember that.

Personally I never knew the term came via a Nile Rogers song and the movie New Jack City!Fair enough! Looks like I'm wrong here and need to update my definition of what it means.
That was news to me too.Personally I never knew the term came via a Nile Rogers song and the movie New Jack City!

I know nothing about Canadian law, but I would guess that either the "School, workplace or home" is either a generic phrase meant to help conceal the protected party's identity or that school is a catch-all term for all places of learning. Unless you're looking at X years of overlap where someone can still be in school but have a job.Never watched the show but 2017 and it says he still can't visit their school would make them very young?? Or is that just generic wording and they might not be a student?

Funny to bring it up since Mack just married a former Nazi apparently. This is why I think Smallville is better. No weird sex freaks in that show.
