Not sure if I saw this here or elsewhere, but anyone who hit the bug will appreciate seeing this.

Anyone who is hitting the "lose all progress" bug in Call of Duty 2 on Xbox 360, there is a workaround you can use until there is a fix to the title. Go to the mission select screen, hold down both bumpers, and quickly press left, left, right, right, Y, Y (the left and right are on the D-pad). A horse sound will play and all levels will be unlocked. It took me about 4 tries to get it to work, but my frustration with Activision is much lower now .

After the British campaign it didn't erase all my progress, just the last level of the Russian campaign!! I really enjoyed that one so I have already played through it a couple of times, I just want to move on to the American campaign but I can't (couldn't now thanks to you) play it until the Russian campaign was once again cleared.

I was looking for something on gamefaqs yesterday for this, and on thereforum I saw someone post that if you have the error, you can go in to multiplayer menu and back to single player and it will be fixed, but since I havnt had this problem myself I cant test it. ANd I REALLY hope I dont, going through on Veteran right now, and god is it ever lacking in the fun department. Most recent fuck over was when on the D-Day mission, after clearing all those buildings (which took a good 2 hours or more) to be on top of the Silo, and have the FUCKING CHEAP ASS GAME checkpoint 5 SECONDS before a mortar hits me, one that is always fired 1 second after checkpoint, and one I couldnt stop from launching, to those who havnt been paying attention, this equals one of the biggest screw jobs in a game ever for me. And gives me yet another reason to DESPISE the checkpoint system in all games.

I beat the first part of the British campaign,and then when I hit continue mission it took me back to the very first stage :lol

Needless to say,I restarted on Veteran and just cleared all the stages again and now I'm on the last British campaign,the Veteran diff. is hawt.
