Call of Duty: Black Ops Multiplayer Footage

Nice features with the camera and buggy but I am guessing the first month of multi will be sniper campers driving c4 around the map :lol

The camera is really going to play a big part, stick that thing somewhere to watch your back? yeah...

In the buggy segment I just noticed the missile in front is user guided, just watch it fly around :lol
 
Looks like MW2 with even more spam etc. going on... I love MW2 and I'd like to get this but it probably will have a 80€ price point so fuck that
 
Finally a company takes a queue from Bungie and includes replay.

That looked all kinds of sexy, and holy cow the sound improvements.

For all the stick they've gotten, I think Treyarch are a great dev. house. Very versatile.
 
Looks much closer from MWtwo than I expected, which is a good thing for me. I hope the shitty rock music won't be in the game though.
 
Looks way too much like MW2. Some of the new abilities are cool like the car bomb, but at least change how the game looks.
 
I'll buy this just because I like more Call of Duty but after the whole Activision/Infinity Ward thing i'm going to buy this used.

I've stopped playing COD after the first Modern Warfare. I'm just not interested in gamer scores and crazy killstreaks and shit.
 
Bungie doesn' charge for video recording lol, they do charge a small amount for rendering the clips online ($5 for like 50 clips I think). If this game even has a rendering to online feature you betcha it'll be paid. This is Activision, and the load on the servers would be insane considering the popularity of the game.

Bout time other games start putting that feature in. Theater mode with filesharing and screenshots ftw. Hopefully this means the next Battlefield will have this since their direct competition has it now.

Of course, that's understandable, but this looks way too similar. W@W was a fresh experience to an extant because of the different time frame, but this looks like Modern Warfare in every imaginable way.

Bungie only charges if you want to use their site to render. You don't pay to record videos at all.

Looks good, although MP looks to be an even bigger clusterfuck of shit that MW2. Love the UI.
 
I hope some Wii footage comes out soon. Really curious to see what Treyarch has improved over Modern Warfare Reflex.
 
The c4 buggy is a 3 kill streak reward, that sounds rather OP to me :D

Has anything been said about the game res, is it sub HD again? the slight fuzzy image in MW2 is upsetting at times.
 
Looks great. A lot of people underestimate Treyarch. They did a great job on WaW (i liked it more than MW2), and this one looks like it'll be even better. Since IW is practically gone now, they're going to be more in the spotlight now.

I hope they bring War Mode back, though.

I can't wait... and I love that people are already jumping to conclusions that it will be just like MW2 based on the fact that there are care packages... we don't even know what most of the other killstreaks are!

Were they ever trying to be realistic?

To me it looks exactly like MW2 mp, which is to say uninteresting.
 
Will sell a few million copies but the Multiplayer looks like a carbon copy of MW2. I was hoping for more stealth based action with the whole Black Ops things going on but instead we got MW2 Expansion Pack.

As soon as they announced Black Ops, I just felt all the developers would do is reskin MW2 for the MP side. I am not shocked at all. :lol

Since it is so close to MW2, I expect the top of the Most Played list to have even more CoD and Halo in it.

COD4 looked like ArmA compared to this. The core gameplay of the series is great but all the additions in MW2 degraded that tremendously and this looks to do the same.

I know I'm in the minority, but the unneeded complexity (its a fucking shooter ffs) brought in by the overabundance of perks and killstreaks completely turns me off.
