That was a cool video to watch, though I think the Spetznaz constantly rolling around will get annoying eventually, but it makes me laugh for now. :lol

As long as they put a time limit to the time inbetween rolls I thing it will be ok. I'd also like to be able to use the spring button when crouched or pronce to crawl on my eyes or scramble.

Some of the best firefights I have involve ducking and weaving around objects/cover so I'd like to see more movements added. I think I read that they were putting lean back into the game but maybe thats just for PC.

I feel that the multiplayer in WaW was more thought out but in the end I keep coming back to playing Modern Warfare 2 because its more fun.

I agree. SOCOM used to be all about the strafe wars so I'm used to dancing around too. I think it'd be awesome if they put some unique moves in MP for this. It's definitely a cool thing to see, but I'm just worried that I'll get tired of shooting them while they're rolling around. That's too funny that Spetznaz were trained that way. They have some really bizarre but totally awesome techniques.

I would have had a little more fun in basic training if they taught me weird things like that. I think I might have to go SF now. :lol
 
I don't know how to put the image on screen, but at 8:11 you can see a few weapons in the background that will probably make it into the game.

Not sure I agree with you on the weapon point, talking from a multiplayer aspect. MP40 dominates all weapons pretty decisively and there just didn't seem to be much of place for Rifle usage. And for Bolt Action Rifles, the differences between the Bolt Action rifles (from my perspective) are minuscule.

I guess we could see some from the Vietnam era. The Springfield wasn't used too much but the Mosin-Nagant should be a sniper rifle and maybe even the Mauser since it was used often. I just really want to see the SKS since that's my baby.

There's a chance we'll see some so hold on to some hope. :lol I just wonder if they'll have multiple M16's in the game for multiplayer given the timeline. It'd be funny to see people using newer weapons alongside some guys using the M16A1 or something.

I never played core on WaW so I wouldn't know.
 
Still no talk of what the co-op is going to be? That's kind of assy. I hope it's not MW2-style Spec Ops mode, but a full, separate co-op campaign is probably too much to hope for.

They showed a slide with a Carcano and the name Lee Harvey Oswald in one of the trailers.

Also, can't believe I missed it but apparently Google ads have revealed a potential 360 exclusive beta with sign ups starting today? I didn't see a thread on it, anyone know if that is true?

I forget where but someone also posted the black ops site saying the beta signups are today.
 
Finally played W@W this week. After the letdown that was CoD:MW2 I LOVED it. Mega hyped for this game now.
 
I read(rumor) on some other site the other day that a beta sign up might pop up for this today? Legit or total fail rumor?

They said there will be no beta, but things keep stacking up and it looks like we will be getting the surprise reveal and download today.

I hope it's simply open to everyone. There would be no way to open up a website tonight and not have it be obliterated by traffic if you have to fetch keys and all of that shit.
