On Black Ops 3 you can also be hacked on the PS4 version of the game, they can turn off or even brick your console I believe even if you're playing single player. And anything from the 360/PS3 era is full of hackers. The joys of pc gaming.
It would be great if future mulitplayer games on PC ran in a container.
Brick your console? Going to need to see some sort of proof on that one.On Black Ops 3 you can also be hacked on the PS4 version of the game, they can turn off or even brick your console I believe even if you're playing single player. And anything from the 360/PS3 era is full of hackers.
So you want Microsoft to bring back GFWL and charge people to play PC games online?
You might well get their wish when they officially launch "Xbox PC".

Where the fuck did that come from? I'm talking about running an executible inside a container, like Docker, to keep malicious actors from gaining access to your PC via RCE/ACE. Don't put words in my mouth.
Dont know about bricking consoles but i do know about complaints involving cheating with the console version of BO3Brick your console? Going to need to see some sort of proof on that one.

I don't think steam and xbox app players can play together, cross play was not a thing with COD until MW 2019; this game also doesn't exist on battle.net and seems to run on the xbox network itself. Is steam and GP players connected with each other?
That's what I thought lolWas that desktop background already there? Or was it a prank by the hacker?
The older Call Of Duty games have notorious RCE exploits. Microsoft did rerelease some of the older COD titles on the Microsoft Store which *might* be more safe since they run within an UWP wrapper.
