Calling all Maya Gurus

I want to model an old school PlayStation controller (the one with no analog sticks) with NURBS and I don't really know how to go about it. I think I know how I'll do the buttons and screw holes, but I'm not really sure how I should make the body. Especially the handles which point downwards the upper part of the backside underneath the L and R buttons. Can anyone give me any tips?

First learn to properly use the birail tool if you haven't already, you are going to be doing a lot of trimming, and cutting the holes as well. To get a better surface quality on those cuts you will add circular fillets, sorry if vague I havent used nurbs in almost a year.

Progress report.

I'm still haveing a hell of a time making the handles. I was thinking, maybe a revolve would be the easiest way?

BTW, for those who don't use Maya. The holes you see on the surfaces are just the way Maya displays stuff so it doesn't use so much memory. Like the spoon in the Matrix. There are no holes. :P
