Can anyone recommend me Planar Magnetic Headphones?

Nice. Let me know how the LCD-1s are. I've never had a pair of planars. What other gear do you have?
Just the Dragonfly amp into my desktop to go from digital to analog.. then the LCD-1 into that. Very simple.
I have only listened to a few songs so far but yeah.... My skullcrushers are in the trash, much more power, very crisp, slightly warm. Feel very nice on the head. I will have to update after some time with them.
They are going to be great for my guided meditation.

That's quite the jump from Skullcandy to Audeze! What caught your ear with the planar headphones vs something more traditional? Did you audition them before buying?

I've been tempted to pull the trigger on the Hifiman HE4XX planars from Drop since they a decent price point for entry. Really, I'd love to get my hands on a pair of Audeze LCD-2s. They looks so gorgeous. It's tough to justify spending more money when I've been perfectly satisfied with my DT 1990 Pros.

I kept hearing good stuff word of mouth. Did a bit of digging and found they produce a much better clarity and instrument separation.
Im kind of past the "punchy and slam" of traditional headphones. I have yet to try them for gaming as well but I expect them to shine in that case as well.
I like how they are made much more light these days. Check the weight of those Hifiman's, I know they have some entry level ones that are good and quite light on the head and ears.

I've read good things about the Sundara on the headphone subreddit.

I agree on the punch & slam of common brands. There's something more satisfying to me when the the bass hits and doesn't drown out everything else. Imaging and soundstage became my selling points once I began my audio journey. I've upgraded all my gear in the last few years. :messenger_grinning_sweat: Thankfully the wife knows it matters to me so she hasn't complained about the cost.

Look at these beauties:

$15k worth of gear right there.

Be honest here, you wanted those headphones. You only came here to have people push you over the edge despite being on the verge of buying it anyways. Either way, let us know what you think. Don't planars have some absurdly long burn in time?

I mean, I was already looking at them. Pretty much decided but came to ask if people even used them. Not much interest aside from you bros. People don't even know what the tec is. It was so funny when I was calling around to physical stores asking if they had any Planar Magnetic headphones. They were like, "magnet headphones, uhhh we don't have them."
Had to go to a home audio store. Dude was super helpful, I was the only one in the store.

As far as break-in time.... https://www.rtings.com/headphones/learn/break-in

No evidence in support of the existence of the break-in effect was found in this test. The changes observed were either too small to be audible, or very large and not repeatable, which suggests fluctuations in system performance or environmental noise. Also, no pattern was observed in any of the changes over time, ruling out a cumulative or long term effect due to burn-in. The music clips recorded as part of the test also sounded nearly identical in a subjective listening evaluation. It is therefore concluded that breaking-in headphones for consumers is not necessary, and won't result in any noticeable change in their sound. The user reports regarding the existence of the break-in phenomena can be explained as a psychoacoustic effect caused by the fact that human hearing is very good at adapting to new sounds. So, a pair of headphones that were perceived as harsh a few weeks ago are now being perceived as more tame and balanced. However, we are not able to make a conclusion on whether break-in has an effect during the manufacturing process or whether the headphones tested were broken-in during the manufacturing process, since the headphones tested were retail versions of the products.
