Can DK: Junge Beat be GC's Klonoa 2 ?

Not that I have seen tons of media of this one...nor that I exactly KNOW all the gameplay gimmicks of the game but after visiting the japanese site I am kinda hyped for this one. It looks awesome. The shots show a bit how the gameplay is and so far it seems cool and fun. Don't know if the Konga's controls are gonna screw all this but the game seems like a serious contender for being the best GC game this year (of course you are gonna say RE4 is better but well this one looks pretty good inside Nintendo lineup).

Has this game been developed by the new Nintendo Tokyo Studio ? I've heart so...Great work.
I can't wait till 4th February to discover more about this one...I hope the soundtrack is as good as the one in the SNES DK ones (specially the first one) and that as I said the game controls fine. Another thing is the duration...perhaps it will be TOO short.

Anyways, in a system that barelly has 2D/2.5D platfformers (Megaman NT and the remake of Adventure Island...) I think this could be the "Klonoa 2" gem the system needs for those, like me, that enjoy those games so much.

I guess the answer is NO.

XD

Hey, I expected some discussion here. Actually I think some of you have played it right ?

Somebody told me that it lasts almost between 5 and 7 for the very first time and that after that it has a lot of replayability so you can open at leat 4 new levels. I think it's some kind of medal game to open new features, similar to Rogue Squadron saga.

Seems fine...7 hours for a game of this kind is about right I guess...Btw, go to the japanese site and check the video...It's flash but it's pretty fun.

Holy crap...if the screenshots make any justice to the final game I'll pee my pants ! It looks awesome.
Nice little video. The game may be short, but there is plenty of reasons to go back through the game. You get certain medals for getting a certain number of bannanas and I can easily see myself striving to get
platinum
on every level. I definetly can't wait for this.
