I'm tipsy. I always like to lead with that in my threads, as that's when I tend to make them, hahaha.
I have two dogs and two cats. Both dogs are 10+ years in age. One might be 14 (big boxer and pitbull mix) and the other is unknown. Just small. Maybe some schnauzer in her. The smaller dog is the leader of the two, and might be just over 10. I don't know both ages as both were rescues. The bigger one was definitely abused by a man previously. I can tell at my Raiders on the tv, and that can cause her to shake and pee in fear.
So I see my little dog is typically the alpha during most of the day, except when they sleep. Does the little one let the older (bigger and weaker) dog sleep because she knows she's older and needs it more?
Thoughts?
