Just bought a 24" LCD monitor from Dell... and the native res is 1920x1200.

Oh shits. Do I now have no choice but to get a SLI rig to run at native res?

I doubt it. The best I can do is run HL1 on my 8500 lappy at 1920x1200. Everything else I take down in resolution.

Yea, SLI is what you'll want at that resolution.

I hear that some companies are making Dual GPU 6800 Ultras that can be put into SLI. That's a pricey solution, but it should be bitchin fast.

An economical solution is two 6600 GTs or two 6800 GTs.
