Can Xbox 360 play internet radios?

I would like to be able to stream di.fm (which broadcasts as mp3) through my xbox 360, is this even possible? I tried loading the playlist file from the 360 but it wasn't recognized at all. Has anyone achieved this before?

Only through the Media Center Extender Interface

that's not much use though, is it, because then it wouldn't work when playing games. it would really rock to be able to listen to di.fm while i was playing games, but alas..

Hell yeah it would. Sure my MP3 collection on the PC is good; but i listen to di.fm for the new stuff.

Hopefully MS adds this function along with many others needed. (like allowing you to chat with more people at the same time) arr.

I listen to a streaming MP3 radio station (WOXY) during gameplay over Connect360 on mac. The software pretends to be a media center PC, so it should be the same over that.

How do you set that up? Also I tried to use the internet radio through media center and it crashed my 360.

How? I added Virgin FM to a unique playlist in iTunes but the playlist was empty on the 360.

I managed to get TwonkyMedia running, and xbox360 finds the computer, but when I try to select it nothing happens, I can't seem to select it or anything. Really strange...

I just added the mp3 that's associated with the stream to a unique playlist in itunes. It's didn't work with the AacPlus stream; only the MP3 one. But it showed up in the 360 with no further tinkering. Again, I'm using Connect 360 1.5, which specifically advertises streaming audio support. Do you have that version?
