I have to wireless-ready PCs, but no router. Is there a way to connect them both via wireless, the same way you connect them via a crossover ethernet cable?

Thanks. :) But can you be a little more specific? How do I do that? I assume it would be in the connection properties, but I can't find any of those things you mentioned.

On Linksys cards, it gives you the choice between "infrastructure mode" and "Ad-Hoc mode". Ad Hoc mode does what you're describing.

Like Vlad said, put you network in " AD HOC" mode.
Go to the properties of you wireless network and you will find the options.

Well, actually one is a PC with Windows XP, and the other is a Dell Axim X5 Pocket PC with a CF wireless card and with windows for PPC OS. The encripton on my PC wireless card seems to be 128 bit WEP, but I can change it, and my PPC card comes with 128 bit by default, and I cannot change it. And my wireless card seems to support ad-hoc too... got to search on my PPC.
