I'll be hanging onto it for a bit longer in case someone does pop up. If someone outside of Alberta wants it, I don't mind shipping as long as the cost is covered.
I would hope that theoretically a manager would support this school of thought.

As far as I know the Target team members tend to not know about the crazy clearances until they come down the pipe to be executed. So not much I can do, boyos, besides not sell them all to RFDers.
EDIT: And knowing how RFD and CAG work, someone else would have it up there (and then it'd get transplanted here) before I at the bottom of the theoretical ladder would get a chance to post about it. But yeah, I'll keep a not-necessarily-existing eye out.

I just checked my preorder, and it says "Scheduled for Standard Delivery"...not sure what that means, but I assume we'd be hearing elsewhere, too, if the game was shipping out three (!!!) weeks early.
It says the same for my other pre orders. I got a feeling that date will change in the next couple of days. I hope so anyways... Having to look at the box for 3 weeks would be a tease.

How was the Assassins Creed event held at downtown Toronto for those who went?
It was fun! Great to see everyone getting hands on with DS4 controllers. The venue was pretty nice too; held downtown Toronto at the Amsterdam Brewhouse.

They've arrived!
Just left the Sony store at the Upper Canada Mall in Newmarket and they have the PS4 demo set up. Didn't have a ton of time with it as I need to get back to work (lol) so I just played Knack.
Game was pretty fun. Controller felt amazing. So I assume all Sony stores up here should have then out today or tomorrow.

Just called the nearest Sony store and the guy told me they'll have a PS4 demo station tommorow only.
Knack was fun, I enjoyed it. I really didn't have a ton of time with it, unfortunately, as I had to get back to the office. Just played it on Normal, but I can see how Hard will be a decent challenge.
I've seen people describe it as God of War-esque and I can kinda see that. You don't control the camera, so L stick is move and R stick is dodge. Jump and basic attack on X and [ ] respectively. Then super attacks using O in combos with other face buttons. Kinda reminded me of Ratchet & Clank in the sense of smash everything you can to find stuff.
Found a couple of hidden areas, just in my short time, so that will probably add some to replayability. Not a graphical powerhouse like KZ obviously, but it looks like it will be a pretty fun game, so I'm glad I'm getting that for launch. I think my 4 year old will get a kick out of watching it, and maybe can try co-op with me assisting on robo-Knack.

Sorry about the crappy pic. They had it hooked up to one of the curved LED tv's. Looked pretty nice, but I have no idea what settings they had it on.

They can't possibly be that tight on the controllers, at least. Just a stupid ad. Besides, FS and BB are giving $20 off when you buy a controller + game, right?

Exactly what I was hoping for after seeing them launch this for the UK. Unless someone knows where I can get a sweet deal on a WiiU right now, then the Mario bundle is the one I would go for, I hope it shows up in Canada! I wanted the Zelda bundle quite a bit just for the nice controller (and waiting so long for a WiiU...) but I just cant make sense if it since I've finished GC Wind Waker a number of times. Makes more sense to get some games I DIDN'T finish multiple times yet.
(Quick check in case I find a good used deal before Nov 8th: The 32GB is not that useful, right? I plan on connecting a USB HD no matter what, so I could in theory find an 8GB unit and not lose any functionality?)

If you pay attention they are already discounting the DS4 by 10$, so it's a total of 15$ saving, and the save 20$ on KZ:SF with DS4 preorder is expired already, still it's not worth the space they took on the flyer
