So to update a post I made a week ago, I just got my 100 bucks from Tangerine.ca for opening a Chequing and Savings account.
If you haven't already, I recommend it if only to get the free cash (basically free full price game at this point lol), at which point you can go back to your own bank if you want. I may end up switching if only because having a no fee chequing account is easier than remembering to keep a minimum balance in my BMO account.

Maybe it was from all the cancelled BB orders.I'm glad Future Shop was able to locate some more Mario Golfs. It would have been embarrassing if they didn't have enough to send to stores

It would be sad if we dont get a similar discount on games during E3 on the $70 price like last year, whatever the % it is. Hopefully they do it.
ING/tangerine is great. Free overdraft, high withdrawl limits, high deposit hold limit, free checks, free ATM usage, and their head office is within driving distance if you live in the GTA. I can get same day bank drafts, and their ios app is godly. You can literally deposit a check right from home just by taking a photo of it.
(I am an ex-American. While I have migrated to spelling words with a superfluous "u", I have not started saying "cheque" or "zed".)
I wouldn't invest that much unless you really really want an iPad right now. New iPads will surely be here by September, and have Touch ID along with an integrated LCD panel, and possibly double the RAM. The jump in design and performance will be as big as the iPad 4 to Air bump. Maybe just buy a minimum spec model, as they maintain the highest resale value, and use that until the new models drop.
Has Amazon started slowing down their shipment preparation to push Prime or something? 3-4 day delivery used to be the norm with most products I bought, but a recent order I put through has been preparing its shipment since Friday, and the estimated delivery is early next week.

I think the holiday slowed things down.
I checked all the usually places around my city. No luck.
I then thought I'd give the electronics section Zhers a shot and they had a few Gravity Rush bundles left! I picked one up along with a memory card.
Now I just need some Vita game suggestions!
Will try out...

Any other suggestions? I like RPGs mostly, Monster Hunter, Dark Souls, etc.
There are demos for Toukiden, Soul Sacrifice, and Ragnarok Odyssey that you can download and check out. I'd also recommend Disgaea 3 and Ys Celceta.

Last items that I ordered, took longer (and that was before the holiday). There was a few days delay in shipping, and the items ended up coming from a warehouse in Vancity (I live in the GTA).
It was the first time it's happened to me while using free shipping.

Oh yeah, it's the first time I've used a bank app since I haven't had to deposit a cheque/check in a while, but it was nice being able to set up an account by just taking a picture of it and then just waiting for a day.

Normally when I choose any form of shipping when I purchase directly from Amazon, it literally ships the next day and gets here in the afternoon regardless of Prime or even the type of shipping, but I'm guessing that's cause I live the GTA (specifically the City of Toronto). This is the first time I've ever chosen free shipping for a pre-order, and it hasn't shipped the day of release. I guess I should expect Demon Gaze next Monday instead... Crap.
They said that they couldn't fulfill any orders placed after April 8.

If they really wanted to push Prime, they'd bring the streaming service to Canada...
Anyways, I did the $15+ trade-in deal at EB and nabbed Kirby, a rare steal with that damn company. Child of Light and Triple Deluxe will be very fun indeed.

You can. Reserve the game online, use the code and pick up in store. Make sure to bring a copy of the confirmation email though since IIRC the discount will not displayed in their system even though the code is used.

Anyone here file their own taxes? I found out today that not only did my buddy (accountant) not file my taxes, but he also will not get to do them before the deadline. I have always wanted to learn how to do my own taxes, but with only a week left I'm pretty nervous. Can anyone recommend the best way to file? TurboTax, Simple Tax, etc?
SimpleTax, its really easy. Just need to know which forms you need, then add them from the drop down list. Once you've completed your filing, you can immediately submit it to netfile from the site itself. Also, you can save a PDF of the whole thing to keep for your records.
My dad does it for me and he uses ufile. Seems pretty straightforward from what I've seen.

I was recommended StudioTax from people here. Its free and easy to use. Took me like 20-30 minutes to complete.
