God I HATE when Aksys does this. I feel penalized for having pre-ordered the physical game. They also did that with AH3LM.
The dollar just skyrocketed after some talk in the U.S. about hiking rates. We're back to 80 cents, which is a sad thing to celebrate but whatever.

It went up like five cents in an hour
To add onto this it's now on PSN for $33.99: https://store.sonyentertainmentnetwork.com/#!/en-ca/games/under-night-in-birth-exelate/cid=UP1024-NPUB31593_00-UNIPS30000001000

Suddenly services like PlayStation Plus and Games With Gold seem more appealing with they're "free games", but I'm no fan of the idea that my games are only mine to play as long as I'm subscribed to that service.

23.73 with PS+? Holy shit, screw the physical copy for that price.
I take back what I said, I didn't know the PS+ discount was more than 50% (tax included). I feel like a moron for pre-ordering.More like "screw people who pre-ordered it".

It arrived in the mail this morning. Oh well, I have to enjoy the game either way. Add me on PSN if you wanna play later. ID is my GAF username.Maybe it's not too late to cancel like I just did an hour ago?
Calgary-GAF,
those of you with experience ordering online from EB Games via standard shipping - how long did it take for you to receive your item?
Cheers

Amazon.Just wondering, where did you order it from? VGP had not even started to process my pre-order.
Um, that's half a cent. (close to a full cent in that recent hour, it seems). I had to search out the news, but it looks like Canada's central bank chief made a speech today that suggested a further rate cut was unlikely at this time.
If you're buying on Amazon.com and shipping to Canada with a Canadian credit card, is the total displayed in USD or CAD?
Xenoblade Chronicles 3DS is now up on Best Buy for those who were looking to preorder.
Best Buy will secure your price if you're concerned about that.
Amazon.
But no it wasn't on news here in Canada, it was after an announcement in the U.S., which sent the greenback down. Good news for us at any rate!
Globe and Mail said:Bank of Canada Governor Stephen Poloz, speaking in London, Ont., reiterated that his surprise January rate cut was insurance but gave no new signal.
The Canadian dollar climbed after Mr. Polozs comments, on a day that saw the currency swing by more than a penny by late afternoon, touching a low of 78.98 cents U.S. and a high of 80.13 cents.
I guess you don't use Netflix/Rdio/Spotify?
This isn't just directed at you but I have no idea where people got the idea that you should get to keep access to stuff from a subscription service once your subscription lapses.
Any suggestions on where to order a decent PS4 arcade stick?
The HORI Real Arcade Pro 4 Kai is up for preorder in the States at Amazon.com but, of course, they're not shipping this to Canada and it's not available on Amazon.ca.
Any alternate locations to track one of these beauties down or any alternate sticks you would recommend?
The only alternative I'm seeing is this stick being putting out by Mad Catz later this spring.
This item ships to Quebec, Canada.

Best place to print a poster in good quality and a decent price? Staples seems too expensive...
I've never used those services. I hear good things though. As for PS+, I fully well know that whatever free games are available are free just as long as you pay to use the service. With that in mind I've avoided ever downloading them. I like the idea of having a digital game on my PS3 console 3 years from now and being able to still play it without having to worry about PS+ support being cut on PS3. The only appeal the service has to me are the discounts on games and online play for PS4. I could really care less about the free game aspect.
Interesting. I download every PS+ game and play it for a bit, and if it's a game I think I would miss once my sub runs out, I usually buy it when it's on a sale. Spelunky and Hotline Miami are recent games I can think of. I probably would have never bought Spelunky without trying it first, so I basically use the PS+ free games as a trial/rental service. (And to get games to play on my Vita while I travel)
You call them to delete it from your services and buy it right?
I don't understand your question.
If you buy a game that you've activated on PS+, you just own it from that day forward. It updates the license and is no longer tied to your PS+ sub.
I thought it wasn't possible to buy games that were on your list already due to PS+. Unless they changed that
I've never had that issue, nor heard of it if I'm honest. Unless that's a PS3 thing? I've bought games on Vita and PS4 that I initially acquired through my PS+ sub without any problems.
How can you buy it if the system thinks you already own it?I don't understand your question.
