All was good in the world of Candytown, even in the castle of Count von Cookiedough...!

The children, fast asleep. The men, filling the tavern.

A church bell chimes once...the cold breeze sweeps through this winter town.

But something is amiss...You can feel it in the air.

What's that...a ship?

I...I can't believe it!

CANDY PIRATES, COME FOR OUR TOWN

But...will they be good, or bad?

Too late, the town is now gone. :-\

I'm confused... yet strangely entertained.

Encore!

Count von Cookiedough is in actuality the Pillsbury Doughboy after retirement. Bitter, and not just because of the fact he's old dough, he has for the most part shunned the village. Taking a decrepit castle far away from the rest of the hamlet didn't help much, either.

Late last night, he was visited by three ghostly cookies: chocolate chip, butter, and peanut butter. They all agreed on one thing, and made off for one mission: to get him to love again. They did their tasty work, and the morning after he bought gifts for all the children of Candytown.

...tonight, he sleeps well.

It might just be because I'm tired, haven't slept much, and have spent the last few hours writing a term paper for a Java class (yes, a term paper for a Java class), but the first thing that popped to mind and seriously amused me was a sort of Pirates of the Carribean parody using the candy theme...

Like a bunch of frosted cookiebread pirates walking along, and when they get into the moonlight, you see them without the frosting....

God, I need sleep.

First off--apologies for leaving this off for a month before updating. But I realized it was Christmas Eve and I hadn't finished off the story.

=========

A small child by the name of Tim Horton saw the pirate ship and crept aboard. A dead body was there, a skeleton bleached white. He tried not to scream...but instead ran back to the town while the pirates were still carousing and warned the men in the bar.

None believed him.

The pirates, however, broke loose. After running through the town, they came upon a farm. Hungry and drunk, they prepared to steal the animals. Suddenly, a light lit and Tim Horton came out with his father Charlie Horton. Charlie let loose with something unexpected.

"You can have some food from the freezer, it might be easier to eat."

Captain Chewy was struck with this response. Instead of fear, he had recieved holiday cheer. Charlie was being honest with him, and didn't mind serving strangers food. A tear rolled from the Captain's sweet cheek.

The Christmas spirit was alive and well, my friends. And it lived in some tiny candy pirates on christmas eve. Everyone else in the town lived as though nothing had happened, but Charlie and Tim knew what went down. Merry Christmas.

And that corpse? It was only a skeleton pillaged from a local school. Nothing bad.

(and yes, this is the real continuity--ignore the picture of luffy)
