Resident Evil 4 soon in Playstation 2

I don´t want to piss anyone, but would make sense and it´s was one of the gossips pointed in Video-Fenky.

You mean this?

There's a guy on 2ch.net (presumably a game-industry person) who posts "premonitions" on the Japan games industry. No one knows who he is, or whether anything he posted yesterday is true, but it's all kind of interesting, so I'll write 'em up anyway, with question marks attached so you don't jump to conclusions and think these solid facts.

They wanted to get FF12 out before the Golden Week holidays begin [April 29], but now it's summer so it won't conflict in sales with another major production coming out around then...?
Konami had an MGS online project going, but it was turning out so badly that they halted development until a better idea comes along; Kojima isn't involved as he isn't interested in online...?
PS2 Resident Evil 4 will be released surprisingly quickly...?
DMC3 has more hidden bits than any of the last two games, and even some characters from a certain other game or games will join in...?
Tekken 5 includes all the games up to 3...?
Chun Soft will release a certain dungeon game for DS and a certain sound-novel game for PS2 and PSP...? The PSP version will be a mobile port of the PS2 one, and all of the games have "3" at the end of the title...?
Capcom asked Arika to develop a new Street Fighter EX game, but were refused...?
Siren 2 will have the most volume of any horror game...?
And a new [arcade] Street Fighter will appear at the end of the year...? And will use a card system and be online?

Yes, specially as yesterday I saw the Tekken gossip becoming true.

Given sales of RE 4 in GC and how important is that game for Capcom´s economy, I wouldn´t be shocked about an announcement regard tgis in that conference.

But it´s just my two cents, It´s just my bet, I´m not in position to say anything for sure.

Did I miss something? Has it been confirmed that Tekken 1-3 will be in Tekken 5? Details please!

I can see Capcom announcing RE4 PS2 early too. But some surprise announcements at the show about new games would be great, I hope there's something new at least.

It doesn't exactly take one month to port RE4 to PS2. It took almost a year since VJ showed up on PS2. Same for Tos.

Of course, but no one says that a port must be done after the original release, a parallel group could have been working on it. And I´m sure Capcom didn´t take one year to port VJ, they released it in PS2 for economical reason once the cycle of sales of GC was mostly complete.

It would be funny if Capcom had one of their other studios making "informal" visits to PS4 taking production notes MGS style in order to ready the PS2 port ASAP.

"Tanaka: Sooooo Mikami. What would you do if saaaaaay you maybe wanted to adapt this feature to saaay, a less capable system?

Mikami: WTF would I wanna do that?"

:lol

Tanaka: Hey, every time I see the game it looks better. Maybe you should port it to...PS2, or something to make more people enjoy it.
Mikami: ?!?!?!?! What's the matter with you, shithead?
Tanaka: Hey, it's just an ... idea. By the way, can you give me a description of how to make that effect? You know...just for fun.

Yeah poor Mikami. He's made a big legacy for himself and now he has to leave it all behind. In a way that was like cutting off his own head.

Resident Evil 4 on Xbox with upgrades (true 16:9 widescreen, 720p resolution, 24 bit color, Dolby 5.1) and additions and an extra character and two new bonus missions, plus a co-op mode that includes co-op on Xbox Live?

Hey, I can dream right? ;)

It's nothing new. The info from Capcom gamer's day is embargoed until tonight, so you'll see more info then. A new trailer from the Circle Studios survival horror game, some new stuff on demento. Killer 7 was playable but you won't hear more on that until the end of Feb. It's not bad actually. The new trailer is awesome.

No other news. So the wild rumors can end now.

They're ex-Core Design staff... didn't know they'd hooked up with Capcom?
The guys who made galleon? No, I had no idea they hooked with Capcom. I missed about a month worth of news while I was on a vacation.

I'm guessing Without Warning is the game from Circle Studios. Cavia/Scarab's doing Beatdown.... pretty dissapointing if this is it. Where's Viewtiful Joe DS?

No Galleon was done by Confounding Factor, which was Toby Gard, who left Core after TR1. Circle is the two brothers who founded Core, who left after TR:AoD.
