Capcom communicates its E3 lineup

where is Monster Hunter PSP and Monster Hunter NEXT GEN?
They hinted at it in Famitsu , so please let there be some details!

I just heard that capcom will announce a big game that isn't on the list. What it is, I dunno. (no idea what platform it is either)

exciting though :)

not too many franchises from Capcom nowadays can make a megaton game
Street Fighter 4? Biohazard 5? a brand new game??

I betting on...

-Capcom Classics Collection (multi)
-MegaMan X Collection (multi)
-MegaMan X9 (PS2)
-Ookami (GC)
-More DS & PSP games

...all also showing up. :)

CCC better be there, or else, a big FU to Capcom!

ok maybe megaton is reaching, but the source said "big" game. :)

It's probably Biohazard 5, or is it? :D

didn't the president of Clover Studio mention that there are 2 new projects ?
one is a group project of Clover Studio and Tekki's producer, and the other one is from Shinji Mikami
so maybe the rumored big game is either one of them

Biohazard 5 for next gen consoles with 3000 ganados coming at you at once. :)

I would be even more impressed if it's just a panning shot of your character standing at the entrance of a huge factory that's alive with activity: thousands of ganados building cars, constructing weapons, inspecting stuff, etc with tons of effects, moving enviroments and steam. Then once the player moves they all notice him and and start talking among themselves while moving into formations and picking up weapons they're building, etc.

I think that's the main issue I have with these "massive army" next-gen footages, they look immersive on scale, but there's no real "sou". The Frame City movie showed more enviromental soul than Kameo and Ninety Nine Nights combined imo.

RE4 was Cube-exclusive as well, so there's still hope...

While I understand what you're saying, it usually doesn't go the other way around. The PS2 games from Capcom pretty much stay on the PS2. Viewtiful Joe, Resident Evil 4, and Killer 7 on the other hand lost the exclusive title on the Gamecube and got ported. I can't think of one game this generation that was PS2 exclusive and got ported to the Gamecube.

Putting Okami on the Gamecube seems like a good idea to me, I see no reason why Clover shouldn't. Then again it might not fair so well with anybody if it wasn't an exclusive anymore, sorta like what happen with Viewtiful Joe after the PS2 version was announced.

-auto modellista
-MegaMan X: Command Mission
-Mobile Suit Gundam Vs Zeta Gundam
-Resident Evil Code: Veronica X

- Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney (aka 'Gyaktuen Saiban) (NDS)
- Okami (PS2)
- Scratch! Viewtiful Joe (NDS)
- Viewtifiul Joe VFX Battle (GC, PSP)

Plus Clover Studio titles and Resident Evil 5 have me excited.

Hopefully Capcom deliver.

Jarrod..? RECV was originally DC (and RECVX was released for DC in Japan), Command Mission was multiplatform from the get-go. Not sure about the others.

Why the hell would Capcom announce unannounced titles on this list? Has anyone done this before?

There'll be unannounced shit from Capcom there. Sink Darkstalkers was a test and has sold about 100,000 worldwide (probably more than any other fighter they've released in recent years), I see no reason why another fighter wouldn't be there.

MegaMan X: command Mission was a multi title from the beginning. thier was no waiting between releases of each verison. I don't think Resident Evil code:Veronica counts, considering it first started as a DC title. I have no idea about Mobile suit Gundam. I don't think Auto Modellista was ever "exclusive". It did premiere on PS2, but soon after it did come to xbox and Gamecube.

Sure, it's pushing it with RE given that GC's CVX is actually based off DC's CV Perfect rather than the PS2 CVX.

Command Mission was announced multiplatform but the game started on PS2 using the Dragon Quarter engine. Not really ever an exlcusive though.

Gundam Vs Gundam again used an older System246/PS2 engine but was itself announced as a multiplatform game.

auto modellista though was heralded as a big PS2 exclusive from Capcom. Only after it bombed did Capcom port it around (almost a year later at that) to recoup costs.

Breaking 100k worldwide isn't a big deal, most Capcom fighters do that. Even on GameCube with CVS2EO, and that was the only one it ever saw. The biggest seller for Capcom recently was SFAC PS2, which probably moved around 300k+ worldwide (not counting Japan, where the games were sold seperately).

I cant wait to see how shitty RE4 looks on the PS2. I cant wait....

:lol :lol :lol :lol
Bah. I think a lot of the problems that the PS2 is going to encounter will be barely discernable. Like, slightly worse textures or downgraded effects. I'm sure that the game won't look as good, but you'll probably have to place the versions next to each other to tell the difference.

It's still gonna be better.

- Probably more content (the whole story, more bonuses etc)
- 1 DVD
- Better controls

As if the two discs is really at all important
As if "better controls" is at all a given -- let alone that the GC controller worked very well with the game

I think we can expect more content, but RE4 GC was so packed... nothing short of extra environments/missions (which might be the case) will make much of a difference.

Yeah um... What was wrong with the GC controller for the game? They obviously aren't going to suddenly put in a strafe for the PS2 version, and you never had to use the Z button or the c-stick, so I'm not sure what exactly needs fixing.

You realize that RE4 was made for the GC and its being ported to the PS2, so why would the PS2 have better controls? You think they are gonna improve them? Its a straight port with maybe some other non-important content...

I can understand how you would say better controls on the PS2, when its an RE game that was ported to the GC, but sorry not in this case.

Unless the PS2 version of RE4 has some awesome feature like 2-Player Co-Op, there's not much of a chance of it being better than the GC version.

Their is a small chance Devil May Cry PSP might be shown.

It'll either be announced if it's even in works or we'll see some vids.

A big surprise would obviously be RE5 but that I'm guessing will likely be shown at TGS along with the PS3 stuff.
