More info on RE5, perhaps some info on Phoenix Wight 2, MegaMan ZX, and the Xbox Live Arcade release of SF2: Turbo.

Other than that? No clue... But those are my predictions.

I am guessing Revolution might get a fair bit of attention, if magazine rumors are true. ;)

Twin Revolution controller Tekki Revolution, make it happen Capcom! Also, Powerstone 3: Capcom all stars. Could be very nice. :D
 
I bet they try to further splinter their fanbase by announcing RE4: More Extra Content Cut for PSP. It'll play like a dream on the D-pad / nub. No aim button required!
 
Lemme just put it this way--if anything badass is shown, and I'm not barred by NDA, and I can get ahold of someone on the phone...it'll be known by 8 PM EST on Thursday (which is when the event ends).

I wish! I would really love an SF4, but it seems unlikely. I would really love if Arc System works did SF4. Either that, or get the 3rd Strike team and Arc System Works together to do a collaborative effort.

I also want to see more on Rockman ZX, dammit!
 
I hope Capcom announces that not only the new Phoenix Wright is coming here sooner rather than later, but that the other 2 PW that we haven't gotten yet comes to the states as well.

It'd be great as well if RE5 was announced for the Revolution, but it seems the consensus the system is underpowered or something crazy like that. So PS3 will take care of that.

Realistically, that is what they will show based on what they have announced. It's not like they're going to announce many games at an event like this. Everything else is just speculation.

Well they can still announce games without actually showing anything for revolution if the latest buzz regarding the new official Nintendo mag is true....

I doubt they'll do that. But...

They most likely won't announce anything for the new systems. Instead, they'll just show what's already been announced and maybe the odd title for the PSP/PS2.

More than anything, I want my Devil May Cry: Symphony of the Night for PSP. C'mon Capcom, you showed Konami how to make a real 3D Castlevania, show em' how to do 2D as well :D

they don't want to confuse people with DMC4 and DC4 - DC5 is going to be the PS3 game, DC4 is going to be the PSP game.

(just to be sure, you know i'm making all this up right?)

I think so. Just as long as they do another DC that's in the style of DC2 then i'm fine. I'm not sure why they even tried to do what they did with the 3rd game. DC2 is one of the most underrated PSone titles. I think most people skipped over it because they thought it was going to be like the first one which was basically RE with dinos in place of zombies.

Exactly, it's just a Gamers' Day, nothing new usually comes out of these. Companies usually just show more media on games they've already announced and announce/show new games at big conferences like E3 where the competition is showcasing what they have to offer as well.

I expect to see their PS2/PSP/X360 games there, nothing much else.

yeah, i liked DC2 as well. Something like that would be great, but make it bigger, faster, more frentic and add in more RE4 style events and ramp up the graphics and we are there...

Most other games shown will be under NDA until E3 or some other major conference. We might see a new game or two for current generation consoles or handhelds. PS3 games shown under NDA could be revealed at Sony's conference in Japan starting the next day.

I wouldn't mind them turning it into a REOutbreak type situation (with voice support obviously). DC2 was very fit for fast paced gameplay and I think it'd support online play really well.
 
Wait why isn't DMC4 a possibility? What makes you think that game is so far from done. It's been in development for over a year already.

Maybe under NDA, but I doubt they'll show anything to the public there. If they do have a playable demo available though I'm sure we'd see it at the PS3 conference the next day or at E3.

Personally I doubt they do have a demo though. I don't think they've gotten far along with it even if it has been in development for a year, they were busy with DMC3:SE and they were making the engine that they showed off at TGS, I don't think we'll see the actual game until later on... maybe TGS.

DMC3:SE was designed by a different team (very very small one) and it wasn't even the same studio AFAIK. I think the director for SE was listed as Bingo Morsashi or something (i have to check SE's website) so, the lead designers of DMC4 weren't even involved with SE, so I doubt SE slowed DMC4's development down. Nor would I think Capcom would be dumb enough to let it.

Personally, I don't see a playable DMC4 until E3 / TGS 07. Especially not after Kobayashi making the big talk about DMC4 looking "at it's worst" like the TGS trailer in-game at 60 frames per second, that's some big ass shoes to fill.
