So i bought the quadrilogy of Alien not long ago, watched the first yesterday and Aliens tonight and I couldnt help stop thinking how awesome RE4's engine would be for an Alien game.
LV-426 is Mostly dark, in constant storms of rain/snow, very foggy.
In door scenes, lots of strobe flashing, lighting flashes, smoke, fire, fog, color lights (i think RE4 is one of the best when it comes to that imo, its very cinematic the way it lights up the scene and the characters), either very cold (metal structure) or organic, which are both done so amazingly in RE4. Also RE4 kinda already has a model they could modify for the alien
And heck, the gameplay mechanics would be perfect for it, quick time events, camera view for a claustrophobic feel, good aiming system and in a way, its a thing i noticed in aliens is that they rarely move while shooting.
Sheesh, never gonna happen but i would kill for such a game, capcom doesnt have the alien vs predator franchise anymore far as i know but if one dev could handle the atmosphere of an alien movie, its Mikami's team.
