It might have a better benefit to lessen pain if you applied it to the skin and gently massaged the area where the pain is for a few minutes or so to stimulate lymph and blood flow to the site
I always thought these things are more or less worthless. The only way to eliminate pain, in my experiences, is to have a plan and execute it to the best of your efforts and ability. For example, if you have neck pain, just to give one problem area, and the way I would attempt to eliminate said pain:
-Clean up diet, drink a lot more water, breathe and oxygenate the body 3x per day in a meditative state if you can
-Fix muscle imbalances. This may include but is not limited to strengthening muscles and stretching muscles. You can also massage. You can also use a variety of other therapies to lessen pain over time, and eventually eliminate most if not all pain. Chiropractor, contrast therapy, tens unit can help
-Lifestyle changes. Standing desk for work. Focus on proper alignment all day. Try to be active and focus on constantly moving in some way, taking only brief rests to lay down or sit down throughout the day until it is time to sleep. Rest is crucial, when your body calls for rest, it needs rest. You can take a 10-15 min rest in a chair, lying down, or even doing certain yoga moves like child’s pose and such. Body keeping the body moving will be a major plus towards the goal of decreasing pain. If you can move, you should move until you are tired. Rest some. Keep moving more if you can until it is time to go to bed
I take a very high quality anti-inflammatory supplement called ‘Rightful‘ (turmeric based, highly recommend btw) because I am pretty much in pain to some degree, physically, every day of my life and even that amazing supplement doesn’t cut it. It’s a supplement and it’s there to improve things to a degree, it was never meant to be relied upon fully. Maybe it will help 1-5% in addition to your plan, that is a guess that I would say you can expect
But the true way to manage pain and improve so that you don’t have pain eventually, is to work on your lifestyle, your body, and to assess the root causes of your pain. I hear CBD products can help, and I know curcumin products will help, but if you aren’t living right, you will still feel the pain regardless of whether you take the CBD oil product or the anti-inflammatory product. If you are accidentally, by way of just ignorance, consuming foods that cause mild inflammatory responses or higher, it’s going to be systemic, and your entire body will affected. I’m trying to convey the truth which is: if people want to reduce pain, they have to expect to make a lot of changes and work for that reduction of pain. We have to choose the correct path with every choice otherwise our health will be depleted. IMO, everything adds up. You should be careful not to make mistakes if you want to live pain free. You have desire health and you have to choose health every single time, every single choice you have, you have to make the right choice. Them you have to tell yourself, alright, that’s a good choice, but lets see if there is an even BETTER choice for my health so what else can I do to make an even better choice. Do that with choosing the foods that make up your meals for example
That’s my take on this topic. The CBD oil is one piece maybe a few pieces to the large puzzle. Go ahead and use it, it will likely help some, but let’s not forget that there is much more to what we need to do to grow in overall health and achieve wellness. Achieving wonderful health is a massive effort and takes a multifaceted approach
