I'm taking my medical technologist certification tomorrow and i'm freaking. I've studied over a month but i still haven't finished looking through all these practice questions i have.....I gotta get back to studying

Breaks are usually a good thing.

In a note taking class I remember the teacher talking about how information absorption takes the shape of an inverted bell curve. The x axis representing time and the y-axis representing the amount of information that is absorbed and retained. So short bursts of studying to minimize the negative protion of the bell curve is the way to go.

well studying in bursts for a month and a half has gotten me through pretty much everything except chemistry. I've already gotten through blood bank, micro, immuno, half of hemotology, urinalysis and education and management
i hope it gets me through the test is 100 questions but i need 400 pts to pass

Let's all ask him a lot of questions so he spends the rest of the evening procrastinating!

Cool! Which test are you taking. I plan on taking the ASCP next year. Word of advice.... GET THE FRAK OUT OF HEALTHCARE! They pay you shit. I work in the biotech industry now and I am much happier. Much better pay and now bitchy nurses or MD's.

I FREAKING PASSED!!! and i have no idea why because all those questions were crap.

Smoke a few cigs before the exam. It does help with cognitive function. Only in short term.
