CGI Hulk in Endgam

I don't know if you're joking or not, but I liked the Arrowverse at the beginning. Crossovers were fun and different and the whole thing was light hearted TV you can relax to. But it all got dragged out for far too long with the same stories being told by the end.

I think superhero stories work best in a serialized format like comics or television. I'm also drawn to smaller street level heroes like Spidey or Daredevil or Moon Knight, etc.

So yeah, I absolutely prefer the Arrowverse. Especially as someone who grew up watching Buffy, etc, I enjoy that sorta relationship triangle action CW 50 vibe

I think, as many say, problem is art direction. Hulk in endgame crosses that valley line, he looks too much like banner, so much so we shout “fake!!”

They should have left hulk as he was, but is pattern of speech (not his voice much) changed to be more intelligent. That way, when he needs to be aggresive like at the end fight, he should show it. But alas.

The following is somewhat in line with your idea.

I see the MCU as a comic/series blown up to ridiculous proportions, and I think by viewing it through that lens (as well as not being the harshest critic of film in general) I find it easy to tolerate MCU movies. The only ones I immediately said “I never need to see that again” for were Guardians 2 and Antman 2. The former was overtly forced with its humour and the latter was a story that existed purely to serve as a lead in to IW/EG.

I’m definitely with you for the street level and TV series, I loved Agents of SHIELD when it was still running alongside the MCU and reacting to the movies and Daredevil was solid. I even enjoyed Smallville, and although that doesn’t get the best reception online it had some great sections. I enjoyed the Moon Knight stuff I’ve read so far, so I’ll be watching that when it arrives, although I have no idea when that will be.
