Chair recommends?

Since you're asking what we all use: Fuck chairs, fuck desks. You want comfy? Get a great couch or bed. You're not at work, you're not in an office, might as well get REAL comfy. You can sit, you can lay down, the world is your oyster.

Last time I had my PC at a desk was when I was still living with my parents at 18yrs old. Ever since I moved out I never bothered with getting a proper chair or desk, because why the fuck would I want that. Start couchmaxxing today.

Couch gang.

But if you need a decent chair, get a used Herman Miller. Those chairs have great build quality and won't ruin your back.

Herman Miller Embody.

It's great for ergonomics but it's not a "comfy" chair.

Don't skimp out on an office chair, especially if you work from home and spend 10+ hours per day on it.

I don't even know what brand mine is. It's a mesh chair and was like $500 about 8 years ago. If I can give you some advice. Don't buy the cheap leather chairs that are like $150-$200. They start flaking after like 6 months. I went through like 3 of them before I learned my lesson. Get something mid to high end and mesh that will last. It was the best decision I made. My chair still basically looks new after daily use and 8+ years. I WFH too, so it gets a lot of use.

edit: Found it. I knew I had gotten it at Office Depot. https://www.officedepot.com/a/products/510830/WorkPro-Quantum-9000-Series-Ergonomic-MeshMesh/

But in all seriousness, I'd say a swivel chair. Everything else breaks.

As a teenager I gamed all night on a wood chair, now days I wouldn't last 5 minutes on. When WFH hit i got a really comfy IKEA recliner called the Nattraby. It's doesn't have wheels but I would still buy it in an instant.
