Being that Lemmings is one of my favorite games of all time and the family favorite game on the Game Gear, what are the chances of ever seeing one on the DS? The top would obviously be the USEFUL map. Plus wireless would mean the multiplayer would get use!

Lemmings is owned by Sony (Psychnosis), so the change of getting a DS-version is close to zero...

Aren't Lemmings a part of the early 90's?
They had a cult following here on the Amiga.

It's kind of strange that usually old PC gamers (hey like me) want to play old PC games on their DS - old Sierra adventures, Lemmings, C&C etc.

There's a big chance that Nintendo won't fullfil your dreams.

could be just me, but that's probably because we (yes, me too) never really got a chance to play these games except at home. Handhelds never really offered precise controls (PocketPC's/PDA's set aside).

Then again, I'd kill for Seven Cities of Gold, Civilization or M.U.L.E. even though none of them really 'needs' the DS's features...

I played Lemmings on the GB. It was good, but it loses a lot from the D-pad control scheme.

Already played it on Amiga and Lynx...but the DS version would obviously work better than a PSP one...unfortunatly the touchscreen would be used for the whole game with the second screen wasted...I want a touch screen addon for PSP.

Yep Sony owns Psygnosis(Now SCEE Studios Cambridge). It was because of Psygnosis Drakan: The Ancient Gates ended up on the PS2 when the was really PC-bound. When Psygnosis changed its name to console-specific, so did Drakan.

pysgnosis is now sony liverpool not cambridge. cambridge are the guys who made Medevil, i forget what their name was tho..

omg I loved lemmings. I had the snes version and played it to death. The 2 player mode was fun too!

I really wish that whoever owns the amiga brand would restart production of the hardware itself. I'm sure there would be a lot of interest. I would LOVE to buy one.

I guess Lemmings was owned by Psygnosis and then taken on by SCEE, but weren't the developers DMA Design - aka the creators of GTA? Of course that won't help a Lemmings game come out on the DS, but there is some small chance we might see one for PSP, I guess.

The only Lemmings I put any sort of time into was Lemmings 3D on the PSOne. ~cries softly~
