I want to pledge $60 for the BD, but I can't ignore the fact that $60 for a BD is rather steep. I'll have to mull it over.

I am currently pledged for the Blu-Ray but, in all honesty, I might eventually drop down to a lower tier eventually since it looks like they are going to accumulate more than enough money.

24 days left. I have never followed a kickstarter before but it is interesting to me that it has continued to rise so much even after the project became fully funded. I know my initial backing was largely motivated by trying to help them reach their initial fundraising goal.

A bunch of tiers have been added since the star (though mostly at higher levels). The OP is now updated to reflect all the current tiers.

holy crap!! why haven't I heard of this? Charlie Kaufman is my favorite director/writer and I absolutely love stop motion movies. This has got to be the best combination. For the time being I have contributed $60, but I might up that closer to the end date.

Cool, didn't realize this had a thread, I gave $75, because I secretly always wanted to make a stop-motion animation film, and this is as close as I will get.

Had no idea this existed, thanks for the thread Tom! Huge fan of Dino (and Kaufman), wish more of the rewards were Moral Orel themed, though... I'd pay a ton for the complete series on Blu-Ray (or DVD, beggars can't be choosers).

There have been 11 total updates (they send an email whenever the project blog updates) since the project started on July 11th. I don't think that's too bad but I'm sure there is a way for you ro unsubscribe to project updates within kickstarter.

Well, they sort of do. On the updates page they try to explain how the quality of the finished product will improve if they can raise the budget.

They set a low bar initially in order to make sure they hit the funding mark but the scope of the project will increase if they can get more money.

That said, I'm in for $60 myself, so I don't want you to think that I'm pressing you to give more.

I got that too, can't wait till we get some images / footage. Other than this, what is Dino up to now? Doesn't seem like Beforel Orel led to anything.

Most recent update:

Dear Kickstarters,

We wanted to clear up why things seem to be taking twice as long as expected.

The original kickstarter campaign for Anomalisa was for a 40 minute short. The success of our campaign provided us the opportunity to secure additional funding and expand the project into a full-length feature. This has allowed us to preserve the original scope of Charlie’s script, without compromise or outside influence.

Production is now 70% complete and when finished, Anomalisa will come in at around 80 minutes in length.

We apologize if this was not made clear in earlier updates but the great news is that all of your long awaited movie rewards will now be for a full-length feature film!

Thank you again for your continued support and patience. This all started with you and we haven’t forgotten that.

sucks the updates have been pouring in slowly, but I can't wait for my blu-ray :)

been anxiously awaiting something new from Charlie Kaufman and it looks like "How and Why" isn't going to be out for quite some time.

Seriously considering a $75 or $200 contribution for the included extras (story boards, art work). I wish I had more money to throw around...

EDIT: Oh, I see this is quite old... drrp. How did I not hear about this?

well to be fair, Starburn also has Rick and Morty which is one of the best animated shows in a long time. it's been gaining a lot of recognition lately and is definitely a bigger name than morel orel.
