Nah, not a street date break. As they don't do next day delivery on games, they just send it out via Royal Mail a couple of days before. You usually get Tuesday releases on Saturdays with TGC and Simply.

Sure, I am just saying that this might happen, not that many people will do it. I even talked about the Switch being sold out... anyway, I was just curious about the preorders of the Switch, I understand the difference between PS4xSwitch as consoles and their game offerings... I even wish I had the money to buy one now (even though I think the smart move is to wait till holidays for the price reduction, so its good to be poor now).
I didnt mean to say that one or the other is better
ps. I still have to fix my 3ds to play a zelda game for the first time (i played a little of OoT before my 3ds broke -.-)
Any decent prices for a physical copy of Horizon Zero Dawn for this German fellow?
I've been out of the (import) loop for quite a bit, but buying a physical copy for my brother's bday in two weeks (or as a housewarming gift if I can get it until Saturday) at around 70 Euro feels like a kick in the balls when PS Store has it for 60$//unknown amount of quids. It's the principle of it, but a physical gift is nicer than "hey, I added this game to my (US) account, but it's totally a gift to you, come, play it" or giving him my CC info to buy it on his account.

There is one other option, Gamestop offers it in their 9.99er offer.
You basically bring them two games out of their trade-in list and pay 9.99 on top and get it.
Only worth it, if you got some of those games and they're not not exactly worth that much.

and the one from game, got cancelled again, because they used the wrong billing address with my card ¬¬.
Where are you located? I'm in the UK and I had something not dispatch 'till like 8PM and it was here next day. I wouldn't worry too much.

My Amazon order of Zelda has just gone to "Preparing to dispatch", but the status seems to have changed a few times weirdly. Fingers crossed.
I'm in Northern Ireland so I'm guessing at this point I'm not getting it til tomorrow late afternoon/early evening at the earliest.

On DPDs website tracker and it's still displaying the message "We've received your order details and we're expecting your parcel shortly". I'm getting worried now since I took Saturday, Sunday and Monday off work to play Zelda and I won't get as much chance after that.

Cheapest import is TheGameCollection, got mine for 55eur shipped. I believe the price is still the same now. I didn't get it yet, but they sent on Monday, I'm expecting it tomorrow (great) or Monday (sad).
You still have time to import, with a 2 weeks deadline.

Just an update to story -
I got a second message in my mailbox and was given the original message from 22/2 that was delivered to a neighbor by accident at the same time. Picked up the game today and cancelled the replacement order.
So overall, DQ8 and FE:A were dispatched on Jan 23 and 25 respectively and arrived 15/2 and 22/2
Got an email from Amazon at 2:50 this morning to say my Zelda Wii U delivery date has changed to 7th March. Until last night at least it was still showing as due for delivery today.
Anybody else get this?

ShopTo: Dispatched first class Wednesday, was hoping to get it yesterday, should be arriving today.

I've got the 6th too. Not impressed, luckily I manage to get a click and collect reservation at Argos for the Switch, but does anyone know the cheapest in store price for Zelda? Was going to get it from Argos with my 8% staff discount, but can only do that in £25 increments and it being £55 means it still works out at £50 with the switch.
Yep, I'm in the same boat, and customer services haven't been very helpful. Seems to be quite a few in the same situation on Twitter too.
Ordered it with Amazon as it was only £40, £30 with the BIGTHANKS voucher.
All they've offered so far is Prime delivery for when it is dispatched, and £5 credit. I've asked for it to be passed to a supervisor.
Annoying thing is they're selling it in my area on Prime Now for £47.99 but apparently their systems work completely separate.
I asked in another thread, but I'll ask here too - would there be any issues in picking up a copy today in Argos for the awful price of £48.99 and then returning the Amazon copy to Argos once it has arrived?

Apparently there's been trouble getting Wii u shipments to retailers. I got a similar email from Gameseek saying they didn't get the entire shipment of the Wii u version they were expecting yesterday.
Fortunately my main copy is coming from tesco and they did ship. But still.
Yeah I noticed a few retailers don't have stock so I'm guessing it's down to good old Nintendo incompetence. Surprisingly Argos has it available for immediate collection at every store near me, but I think I'll stick with Amazon and see if I can get them to give me a voucher or something.
Got something similar for my Switch HORI case and premium screen protector. Good job I wasn't planning on taking it anywhere this weekend.

If it is the case Nintendo did not copies to them some due warning and automatic credit would be appreciated.
I want the £5 credit but don't want the prime delivery (I'm away next week so won't be in to sign for it etc). Maybe I should bring it up with them next week instead then.
Argos packages have those annoying to remove square stickers on the box. I don't know if Argos would accept a sealed return if it was missing the sticker.
Last time I used them GAME will also put their stupid stickers on the sealed package.

For some reason the Media Markt had it for 59 instead of the price on their website, so I bought it asap. I dunno if this is just the local one or all of them, but if someone here is looking for a copy, that is an okay price for what I've played so far, because it plays like butter.
Hey, if I install it so he can play while grabbing some furniture and he then doesn't show up, there's no way I'm not testing if I should return the game and get him something else because it sucks, right? Right?!

Since you asked, Switch here in a couple of hours, already got Zelda, 1-2 Switch is out for delivery as is my Amiibo and Pro controller.

So, f** GAME never call me back (after re-cancel my 2nd order), and now I'm suppose to get it by Monday (switch + zelda) after another call back, Amazon.fr moved my switch to be dispatches the 5th, and my zelda from amazon.co.uk still says to be delivery on Saturday, what a mess!
