Are you trying to buy from the console or the store on the web? I think it should work if you buy it directly on the console.

Damn! I had looked for the mexican price but it was higher so I went with physical. At 46€ maybe I'd preferred the digital one. Anyway good to know, if this ever get a sale I will consider getting digital also for convenience.

Do it in the account settings of My Nintendo and if you're worried about account switching too much (no reports yet), you can just create a new account for the region and just not get the coins for the purchase.

you can change the region wherever you want. but you'll run into problems with your leftover account balance if you want to change regions.

the easier alternative is to just make a dedicated account for whatever bargain region you need. like you do on PSN.

That might be a bit cumbersome if you want to transfer your account to another device in the future though. Always easiest to just have it on a single account.

The leftover balance is just an issue if you purchase eShop cards anyway; in contrast to other platforms Nintendo allows users to pay the exact amount necessary for a game.

They've been more or less discontinued. Retailers aren't really getting new stock anymore. Focus is on the XL versions of 2DS and 3DS, which sell better. 2DS XL also takes the price point previously held by the N3DS (160€). Between January and March they just shipped 10k units across Europe, while total 3DS shipments amounted to 290k. The 3 months before that, Europe also just got 20k. During the entire last fiscal year, the N3DS didn't even amount to ten percent of 3DS hardware sales. And sales were only that high because a production lot got a special release in the US.

The N3DS covers also didn't fulfil expectations.

You'd be best off hunting through secondhand shops, or local retailers. I know I've seen them around in a couple of places outside of CEX, might check if they still have anything in stock.

This fiscal year, yes. The move to the 2DS XL was made to get better economies of scale. The 2DS was still based on the old 3DS hardware.

Stupidly got wasted on Sunday and lost my Switch and 3 games :/ Thankfully our house insurance covered it and they're sending me an Amazon voucher to buy a new Switch and an Argos voucher to re-purchase my games (Zelda, MK8D & 1-2-Switch). Thinking I'd be daft to get 1-2-switch again after exhausting the initial hour of fun it offers so was looking at pre-ordering Splatoon 2 instead. If I order the 3 games on fast track, anyone know if I'll be able to collect Zelda and Mario Kart straight away or would I have to wait till Splatoon releases and collect all 3 together?

Eh, we pay extra for personal possessions, covering accidental loss while out the house. It wasn't my finest hour but it was an accident. Also, didn't lie during the claim process - it happened as I described to them. Case must have fallen out of my bag as I got off the train and I didn't notice

It was in a carrier bag with some shopping between my legs / under my seat. I did think someone taking it was a possibility but couldn't say for sure so just had to report it as a loss. Glad I'm getting it replaced but gutted to lose my BOTW save. The thought of having to redo my first 40 hours feels like a chore and I was having so much fun up to that point

This seller on eBay is offering pre orders on Tekken 7 for either console at £28.89. I have never pre ordered a game on eBay but this has me tempted. Can't help but think it is too good to be true tho, only 46 feedback and only offering preorders. Posting to get an extra opinion or 3. Anybody ever had a deal this good turn out to be true on a preorder from eBay?
