Xbox credit expires? Wtf...
Must be, regular currency doesn't expire (I think MS Points did though, back in the day?)My guess is it was probably for a promotion or something and they got hold of some and sold it?
So I have credit on my Xbox but apparently it doesn't work for 360 games, is there a workaround for this?
I think this works only from a 360 console, not One.Are you trying to buy from the console or the store on the web? I think it should work if you buy it directly on the console.

You need to change the country of your Nintendo account to South Africa.
Hmm Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is 669 Rand -> 46 EUR.

For those of us whose cards don't work well out of region, is there a recommended place to get other currency eShop cards? Amazon.com and .jp work fine for me, but just for the others.
still play-asia.
They've only got a few regions though, or is it just that Nintendo don't do cards for regions outside UK/HK/Japan/US/Germany?
not aware of any others

Question about changing the region for Switch: I visit the nintendo account page and change the region there and buy it online? Or just switch the region on the console? Are there any downsides to that? Can my account be banned from switching region too much?

Do it in the account settings of My Nintendo and if you're worried about account switching too much (no reports yet), you can just create a new account for the region and just not get the coins for the purchase.
you can change the region wherever you want. but you'll run into problems with your leftover account balance if you want to change regions.
the easier alternative is to just make a dedicated account for whatever bargain region you need. like you do on PSN.
The contract for your Nintendo Account says that the information you provide needs to be correct. Otherwise Nintendo can terminate your account. Don't think they do anything if you switch your country though.

Good find. If only Germany would drop those silly USK logos, or redesign and first and foremost shrink them.
Anyone have any experience with this retailer? They sell single new PS Move controllers which are frustratingly hard to find normally (maybe they gut the dual pack).
Think of the poor children!

Yeah, that's the reason I'll import 95% of my games, even as a german. Our USK logo bothers me too much.
Reporting back: just got my game from got2games, everything as expected =), they used royal mail 48.
PEGI not good enough for them poor German children, is it? ;-)

Not sure if anyone can help me, but I might as well try... Is it still possible to find a regular-sized New 3DS anywhere? It seems that they're getting harder to find.
I'm in mainland Europe, but I've been looking on UK websites too and it does seem impossible. Even used ones seem hard to come by for some reason. Will keep an eye out though. In the UK?
I was looking at the beginning of the year and it was pretty much impossible to get one brand new. Ended up buying a used, but in mint condition, Ambassadors edition.

This is the one I bought recently. Though it was a fair bit cheaper when I bought it.Not sure if anyone can help me, but I might as well try... Is it still possible to find a regular-sized New 3DS anywhere? It seems that they're getting harder to find.
Yup, which is why I'm now kicking myself for not buying it earlier. It's not that I really need it... I would just love it for the collection! They've been more or less discontinued. Retailers aren't really getting new stock anymore. Focus is on the XL versions of 2DS and 3DS, which sell better. 2DS XL also takes the price point previously held by the N3DS (160). Between January and March they just shipped 10k units across Europe, while total 3DS shipments amounted to 290k. The 3 months before that, Europe also just got 20k. During the entire last fiscal year, the N3DS didn't even amount to ten percent of 3DS hardware sales. And sales were only that high because a production lot got a special release in the US.
The N3DS covers also didn't fulfil expectations.
I would prefer a black one, but it's good to know this is at least an option.Rêves;236918901 said:This is the one I bought recently. Though it was a fair bit cheaper when I bought it.

Does this mean they're now phasing out the regular 2DS?
Amazon.de still has Sine Mora Ex for Switch listed with a EUR19.99 price. You may want to preorder it now before they update the price (on Switch it should be EUR29.99, but the distributor messed up at first).

Stupidly got wasted on Sunday and lost my Switch and 3 games :/ Thankfully our house insurance covered it and they're sending me an Amazon voucher to buy a new Switch and an Argos voucher to re-purchase my games (Zelda, MK8D & 1-2-Switch). Thinking I'd be daft to get 1-2-switch again after exhausting the initial hour of fun it offers so was looking at pre-ordering Splatoon 2 instead. If I order the 3 games on fast track, anyone know if I'll be able to collect Zelda and Mario Kart straight away or would I have to wait till Splatoon releases and collect all 3 together?
Eh, we pay extra for personal possessions, covering accidental loss while out the house. It wasn't my finest hour but it was an accident. Also, didn't lie during the claim process - it happened as I described to them. Case must have fallen out of my bag as I got off the train and I didn't notice

You probably got robbed. Keep bags zipped up and padlocked if possible.
