I like this show but I really don't like the new episodes with the studio audience and the fact that they spoil jokes when they cut to commercials now. I also wish they would show the original hour long episodes of the early shows, the spelling bee one is fantastic.

Just watched a marathon and I was thoroughly entertained. I thought the concept of the show was good, but I was SO TIRED of the commercials when the show launched, that I hated the hosts on site, so I never watched it. My mistake.

Some classics from tonights marathon were the Zod guy, Johnny Bench quitting, some strange combination of basketball/soccer/bikes, and of course lawnmower racing. I think I was hooked once they mentioned that the woman in the roller derby was in GLOW (I knew that's where I had seen her, but for them to actually confirm that was great, google's solid but I doubt I could have found much info on an obscure rollerderby player from the 80's lol).

I also thought the SportsCentury show was very clever.

I can't wait for next week's marathon

I'm not a sports fan at all, so a lot of specific references moulage over my head. It's one of the very few shows that will make me change the channel to an ESPN station, though. Other than this it's when there'd be something bizarre like spelling beees or Magic tournaments... both of which probably have been or will be focuses of Cheap Seats episodes.
