As for the debt... well it'd be null and void if China ceased to exist. If anything removing their creditor is good for the US. And if China start it, then the US could keep its reputation as a debtor mostly intact - don't start a stupid war and we'll honour our debt.

They make so much of our medical supplies and equipment we take for granted like IV tubing, antibiotics, PPE.

Its why we had a hard time getting PPE during covid, China was hording it all.
