I think he went over there just once. But after Friday, he became religous and now is very selective about the roles he does. That is why he was not in Friday 2 or 3. I know that Jackie Chan put the breaks on the next Rush Hour for a bit so maybe Chris is just waiting. I would hope he has made enough cash that he doesn't have to worry about money.

Chris doesn't have much flexibility in terms of the types of roles he can play. He's a funny guy, but I was getting a little tired of him. I think it's wise of him to be staying on the down low for a while before he starts to annoy audiences.

Comedian CHRIS TUCKER is so moved by the plight of AIDS victims in Africa, he's considering quitting his Hollywood career to concentrate on fighting the continent's epidemic.

Pals of the 31-year-old RUSH HOUR star say he's turned down more than $100 million (GBP58.8 million) in film roles in the past six years, in part to make time for his charity work.

A source says, "After Chris receives $25 million (GBP14.7 million) for RUSH HOUR 3 and his current film contract runs out in 2004, he's going to focus solely on his charity work. Helping children with AIDS has become his passion.

"Chris doesn't just sign his name to the cause. He prefers spending his time with his family and working to combat the AIDS crisis."

During a hiatus, Tucker, who lives in a $2 million (GBP1.18 million) California mansion with his longtime girlfriend and five-year-old son CHRIS JR, decided to explore the world. His travels took him to Uganda, where he met a mother-of-three in her 30s, who was dying of AIDS.

Why do succesful people visit placed like Africa and India, it only fucks up there careers. Look at Alanis Morrisette, she was going ot be the next big thing, she visits India, gets off drugs, and now she sucks ass.

He can still be funny, but his range is really narrow... The high-pitched voice thing gets old.

Tucker was great in Friday, then it was all downhill from there. His part in Dead Presidents wasn't bad. I used to think he was the next big thing in comedy, and sang his praises like crazy after that flick, but I've been pretty disappointed since then.

I commend him for his charity work and religious beliefs, but I don't want to see him do the same old thing in movies. I wish he'd appeared in Friday 2 or done more R-rated flicks, his act was better when it didn't have to be so clean.
