It's actually true. There's more than a couple metal singers who have backgrounds in classical or opera training, and who actually went to conservatories. And even a lot of the (relatively) untrained singers often have great natural voices and more than serviceable technique when it comes to basics of breath support and consistency through registers.

But I wouldn't say the Rock genre soundly trounces Pop when it comes to vocal prowess. There are, of course, the superstars. But there are also a lot of Rock singers who can really only shout (and shout badly) and make singers like Xtina sound restrained in comparison.

Oh, I wasn't making a comment about them as genres. I was only saying that many of metal's best-loved frontmen are better singers than Pop-GAF's faves, which includes a lot of relative vocal flops.
I hate giving Perez hits, but I guess I have to.

So you don't hear the harmony in this very simple melody? Heck, there are several points in the song where Christina is outright singing the melody.

Now that seems wise.
There is a few of us who aren't completely crazy and thinks Varg Vikernes is a fairly nice guy. Whenever someone brings up real music it is hard not just to shake your head though, especially when metal being real music means that limp bizkit and slipknot are included, no matter how many times the metal heads denies any connection to that trash. But eh, I love lots of genres but there's just nothing that quite feels as fantastic live as some fast aggressive song live. So while metal is probably my favorite genre it's also where I find the bands I dislike the most and certainly the fans, so many socially inept idiots who should try and not hate everything every once in a while.
Anyway that was not to get completely off topic, sorry.
Is this song like when Sony/MS/Nintendo does something stupid on gaming side and it can be used against them in the future?
Well it's not bad, but I thought this was supposed to be some sort of club banger? It's way too slow paced for that :|
Oh well, it's still pretty catchy and much better than Not Myself Tonight, the remix will probably make me like it a lot more. And it's a much better comeback single than that horrible Mariah Carrey song (the original one, the remix are pretty good).
