In an effort to collect my thoughts after all the stanning-out I did in the PopGAF thread when this demo leaked hours ago:
The track is awesome.
Christina sounds amazing as usual and the production seems to borrow tips from the synth-heavy Pop that's trending on radio now and the drum/bass combo that tends to favor R&B. Which makes sense - as Christina has always been one of those Pop starlets who could lend credible vocals to the big, brassy production that favors a lot of Hip-Hop and R&B.
It's a great little mid-tempo number and should do very well for her on radio this Fall.

I'm not an angry 90s metal fan. I can appreciate both metal and pop music. They both have their strengths. Then again, I hate when labels are thrown around for music fans--hipsters and of the like. As a side note, Layne Staley was a phenomenal singer.
Christina is in a really good place in her life now. She is finally done with her scummy ex-husband, and her new boyfriend has inspired her to make the sex anthem of the decade. I figure she will lose a few more pounds before the live section of her show, The Voice.

Ummm...the topic of the thread is Christina Aguilera's new single, not the virtues of PopGAF. I was one of the few people to give an opinion on the single that spanned more than a single line.
