is there any way to clean not the inside (i already have a new 72 pin connector) but the outside casing of the NES? it looks really discoloured and starting to almost yellow with age. i've tried scrubbing with a wet rag and a little soap, but nothing worked.

would bleach do anything? or is there no hope of restoring this beauty to it's former grey glory?

use a Mr Clean sponge pad, don't wipe the NES logo on the cartridge lid though cause that red ink comes off

after the plastic like that, be it NES, SNES, etc starts to get the ugly yellow color, its damn near (if not completely) impossible to get it back. its not stained, its a physical change in the plastic.
