There's few insects here so I only need to deal with dust buildup and cat hairs. Maybe 3-4 times a year?

I regularly clean my controllers though. Even the slightest bit of gunk or sweat has me reaching for a washcloth.

My laptop is elevated on a tilted stand, and I keep a sheet of that black carbon filter, that you find in fish tanks, between the laptops intake and the stands cooling fans. It actually does an amazing job. Can't detect a difference in temperature in benchmarks, so it allows airflow. I pull it out and shake it off every once and awhile. Intake vents still look super clean months later.
