Clinton has pneumonia

I find it ironic that on 9/11, the conversation around both candidates is about Trump clearing/not clearing rubble, and the timeline and announcement of Clinton's illness.

It's the most important political office in the world, and people don't give a fuck about foreign policy, security, the economy, people are talking about gossip.
It's been like this the whole fucking election. It's part of the reason I haven't been paying as close attention as I normally do. 2012 actually seems like a principled debate on the merits of policy in comparison.

I'm sure it's mostly Trump turning things up to 11, but this gossip/scandal shit was always going to be surrounding Clinton regardless, even if it's not her fault. There's just so much superfluous shit that sticks to her (again, justified or not), aside from her legitimate faults as a candidate. I'm still bitter the DNC didn't groom more alternatives over the last 8 years, because I don't think Hillary would be winning right now if it wasn't Trump (or Cruz) and I'm terrified about 2020. I think Hillary will be an okay president who will handle the gridlock about as well as can be expected (my reservations about her foreign policy aside), but she does not seem to be a great candidate.

I still don't really understand "cuck".

The idea stems from cuckolding, where one man watches as his wife has sex with another man, usually with racial overtones (a black man and white woman). The idea is that the Strong Aryan Man has been emasculated by feminism, fear of being called a racist, etc. And therefore the GOP does not represent real right wing values but is a party of "cucks" who let themselves get pushed around by liberals since they don't openly (in the view of the alt right) stand up for the rights of white people, which is to say white supremacy.

I knew it would be something this dumb. Thank you!

This is going to be like that episode of TNG where Worf dies, but we didn't know that Klingon's have a backup heart, so he really was fine.

I just hope whatever species that Hillary comes from has some sort of auxiliary defense mechanism if her lungs fill up with fluid.

Speaking of the alt-right, someone actually called me a 'beta libcuck' today. On a forum, of course, because I think most normal people would find that term hysterical.

I've reached the big league, boys and girls.

nah, thats when you're being called a globalist.

you got some way to go, sorry.

It feels a lot like 2000 all over again. At least in some ways. Especially on the left and in the media.

So is this going to have Hillary ask Joe Biden to do the ritual and kill her only for Joe to point out that according to Clinton Tradition it should be Chelsea Clinton? I would watch that.

It sticks to her because as Karl Rove proved, you say something enough, long enough, even if it isn't true, you can create the perception of that truth and even get the media to basically endorse it.

In Clinton's case you basically have the media accepting, without any pushback, the narrative that she has trust issues/corruption/questionable morals and ethics. The conversation in the media is not "Are these assertions by her opponents legitimate?" Its "Hillary has the cloud of untrustworthiness/corruption hanging around her, how will she combat it?" Never stopping to unpack that assumption or challenge it because it will look like, for instance, a network like CNN is being biased in favor of her. So you are campaigning against both the charges of your opponents and the framing of non-conservative major news outlets that don't directly call you those things, but operate as if they are.

Hillary will be speaking to Anderson Cooper about the whole thing.

I thought he had a backup brain

"Oh my goodness, Anderson!"

LOL, she has a point though. But the expectation for Trump is so much lower because he's a clown (and is almost expected to not be forthcoming with anything)

You can blame this on the press IMO. It's all about gossip and spin. That's what creates ratings.

Which is exactly how he's going to basically clown his way through the entire electoral process.

The failings of the press just may be the most disheartening aspect of this election cycle. We're experiencing idiocracy in action. I honestly can't believe the inconsequential nonsense that gets elevated to lead story status sometimes.

What is this piece of metal crap people keep talking about? I haven't seen a video of it, and I don't want to look it up since I am sure all the videos I find will be narrated by 'Look, here is solid proof she is a lizard person' type people.

In the video it kind of looks like something falls by her feet as they are hustling her into the van.

She also has an ear piece and a body double. Every time I check this thread I learn something new.

Guys. I think I'm sick. My political career is over before it began :(

But seriously if you can please volunteer for the HRC campaign. Even one day might make a difference.

Seriously!!! Watching the news today has been insufferable!

Clinton got sick! Is she fit to run for president!?!?

Good Lord this is infuriating!!!!

Busters need to let it go.

My daughter's boyfriend is intelligent, a feminist, went to university for writing... and he still prefers Trump because he's so salty over Bernie losing to Clinton. (He's swallowed the whole narrative that she should be in jail.)

Thankfully that's the only place we disagree, other than the occasional band.

Mexican newspaper cartoon about this issue (Super bad taste?)

"El 11S de Hillary" something like "Hillary's September 11"
