My wife is 13 weeks pregnant, she definitely glows in a way that she didn't prior to the pregnancy. It was the same when she was pregnant with our first as well.

Aside from subtle changes, the "glow" and confidence or whatever they mention, I wouldn't say it particularly turns me on or off. It's like... just an alternate physical state women can have. However, I don't want kids. Ever.

So how is preggo sex done? Mostly just doggy style I assume?
When she's far along, yeah. You don't want to put a lot of pressure on the stomach and it could also be weird if the baby kicked you in the stomach mid-thrust. However, I've read that the rocking motion of sex and the contractions during the woman's orgasm will put most babies to sleep.

I bet one sperm cell hits the baby.
Unless there are holes in the placenta I don't think this is possible. They probably won't even make it past the cervix.

I don't think I would be the biggest fan of pregnancy sex honestly. But if I got my future wife pregnant I guess I would pretty much owe her the penis so I'll suck it up when the time comes. Doesn't surprise me that there are guys who love it though.

A study published in The Journal of Sexual Medicine in 2011 suggests there's a link between sexual attraction to pregnancy and exposure to pregnancy and lactation in early childhood. The study found that a preference for pregnant or breastfeeding women was more common in individuals who had younger siblings; exposure to a pregnant mother between 18 months and 5 years might leave an imprint that manifests in adulthood.

Makes sense to me.

I'm 7 months pregnant now and can attest to the creepy vibe that interested guys give off. It's one thing to ask a question or two, but don't ask about breast feeding and don't touch the belly. It's like a portal into your googling habits.

Pics or it didn't happen.

I kid.

Maybe.

Congrats though. Hope all goes well and good luck.

It took a CNN investagation to discover this? They could have just checked my browser history, preggos are super hot.

Excuse me for being interested. :(

lol I don't care if that's what you're into, honestly. It just makes me feel weird being the subject of that kind of attention. I'm sure some girls are down though :p

I have both and haven't noticed anything weird. Our dog however has been more protective when my wife takes him out for walks. Growling at people and such.

That's because dogs are awesome.

Yep, my fiance is pregnant and we want no part in sex at the moment. It's just weird...can't explain it.
How far along is she? For the first trimester we didn't have sex really at all cause she was feeling sick all the time and my sex drive was down too. Things are picking up again in the second tri though.

Interesting...I'm feeling the same. She's basically sleeping all the time (but she is an accountant and at the end of tax season so that probably accounts for some of it).

She did ask about it yesterday...so I'll leave it up to her and how she's feeling.

Hmmm, well the one thing I've read more than anything relating to pregnancy is that it's different for all women. I also read that a man's hormone levels will change too during the pregnancy so maybe that's the weirdness you speak of. Like a defense mechanism to make you not want sex too so you don't resent her or anything.

Dude where have you been.

I thought my wife was really sexy during her pregnancy, but she had a lot of difficulties that made sex excruciatingly painful after a few months. On top of that, during the last couple of months she developed a rare allergy of sorts to our son's DNA that gave her a horrible rash all over her body, so we wouldn't have been able to have sex at that point, anyway.

After she gave birth, it was torture waiting the recommended two months before having sex, because 1) I missed it, and 2) her breasts had ballooned from a 34 C to a 36 DDD.

I must have my manhood in need of repairs, because I always thought that preggos and recent moms look like hell. Not attractive at all. No BS "mommy glow" either; just pissy mood and tiredness.

I can appreciate the tits, tho.

I always thought the "mummy glow" was something pregnant woman said of themselves to feel better.

Yep, pregnant women are hot as hell, specially if they were hot before getting pregnant, but I've noticed cases of average looking women becoming somewhat attractive during pregnancy too.
