FOXNEWS PEAK HITS 6.9 RATING -- 9,561,000 VIEWERS -- FOR DEBATE; CNN MAX 3.4/4,364,000; MSNBC TOP AT 1.7/1,851,000... MORE...

looks like quite the win IMO, and CNN can't use the exuse that it's a conservative, Republican event...

not to mention Bill O'Reilly was getting his best ratings of the year with the Bush interview earlier in the week...

levious

That throwing stick stunt of yours has boomeranged on us.
I'm sorry, but if you're a FoxNews supporter you're not allowed to post rating showing them in the lead.

I don't especially, I'm just wondering what about it you care. it's not the first time you've posted rating results for televised political events.

Anyone with common sense watched it on CSPAN since all they had was a split screen the whole time. No camera angles/switches, just both candidates the entire 90 minutes. It was awesome.

Oh man, I totally forgot to check C-SPAN for some reason. Will have to catch a replay or find it online, that does sound awesome.

I believe these numbers are from people like me...

I couldn't resist but turn to foxnews to see how they were spinning Bush looking retarded

Along the news crawl afterwards, there was little things like"US signs treaty to fight terrorism with France!" right after the speech to negate Kerry's claims. Nevermind, that the treaty was about extradition of prisoners....but since its on Foxnews its gotta be about TEH TERRUR!@@!

Even that dude Brit Hume, said some bullshit about Bush looking stoic and resolute?@!

Meanwhile, the rest of Americans hang their heads in shame.

I think it is so insulting to the intelligence of the American public that FOX News, an unabashed tool of the GOP, manages to command so much popularity.

So what

Everyone just wanted to laugh at FOX News and their sucking of Bush's cock after

Actually, had you watched it rather than mindlessly bashing, you would have seen (and perhaps been surprised) that the post-debate comments were more in favor of Kerry.

I've heard this several times now. Though for them it ultimately doesn't make them objectionable or believe in any way that he's the better candidate, if even project that notion. It probably came down to: "He's a wonderful debater."

total viewers: 62,459,000 VIEWERS WATCH DEBATE

ABC News 11.50 million
CBS News 13.48 million
NBC News 17.2 million
Fox broadcast 5.2 million
FNC 9.561 million
CNN 4.4 million
MSNBC 1.2 million

/// FLASHBACK: IN 2000, Among cable networks, CNN (3.27 million) outdrew combined audience of Fox News (1.88 million) and MSNBC (1.03 million)...

Fox didn't trump the other networks like at the Republican Convention, but if you add Fox + Fox New Channel, they trump CBS and ABC.

That said, they almost moved past 10 million viewers, and incredible feat no matter how you look at it.

So really, cable news in general did better. Except Fox exploded.

Well I think it proves there are a ton of dumb people who thinks they are 'teh c0ns3rvativ3s!!' because they are fox news and supporting bush.

Watch that documentary about Fox News called Outfoxed:Rupert Murdoch's Attack on Journalism. It's hilarious. Now I know how you can win debates, when you get too angry or are losing you just cut off the other person's mic and kick them off the show.
