Ok I REALLY REALLY liked Season 1 of Cobra Kai so I am totally excited about Season 2 coming out. Here is just a small teaser Trailer and if you have not watched Season 1 yet. Do it if you like Karate Kid

Can't wait. S1 was so, so much better than it had any right to be. Made this lifelong KK fan very happy.
 
Biggest surprise for me last year. Never had any special love for the movies, but the show was incredible!
 


I loved the first season, and at first thought it was a joke when I heard about, but after reading reviews I went ahead and binged it. Was my favorite TV show of last year easily.
 


Anyone else getting pumped for this? The first season was a surprise for me and i really liked it. I'm still championing Johnny.

Enjoyed the first season. Watched it via. a free week trial I believe of YouTube red. Any deals upcoming just so I may watch season 2?
 
Watching some Season 2 now. The first couple episodes are a little weak -- not sure it was the best idea to lead with the octogenarian stuff -- but ep 3 starts the fires burning again. Some fun nods talking trash about outrage culture, cultural appropriation, and non-binary gender identity, which still feels a little edgy for a Youtube production.
 
I watched the first Season 2 episode...... The first scene with the fight was epic ! Can't wait to watch the rest. One thing I know, I don't want to watch the whole season in one sitting like I did last year, I'd like this one to last for a few days by watching 1 -2 episodes at time. Such e gem of a show. And I'm not even a huge fan of the original movies, even though I was a kid at the time and arguably the targeted audience. :messenger_beaming:
 
I finished all 10 episodes yesterday because I got spoiled about something and wanted to see what happened lol.

This season is even better than last season. I hope we don't have to wait this long for season 3.

The original Cobra Kais are back together for one last night except Dutch is in prison and Tommy dies in the woods, he had cancer. A school brawl occurs and during their last fight between Robby and Miguel, Miguel breaks his back and is in critical condition.
 
5 episodes deep and it's starting to get good. Like Evilore said the first 2 were pretty meh but it picks up after that.
 
Good to hear that it gets better. I loved Season 1 and was so excited - but Season 2 ep1, which I watched the moment it came out - it felt a little weak - or maybe my expectation was little too high.

Then again, after the finale of the Season 1 - I think it would be reasonable to slow things down a bit to build up new drama. I used up my free trial last time around - but I'll gladly pay 1 month worth to watch this again. (probably will do a marathon starting season 1 again, before my subscription is over)

Finished it. My wife was beside herself at the end of episode 10. Episode 6 got me, it was rough watching that one play out.

It's gonna be painful waiting for S3.
 
Finished S2 - but why is it only 10 eps. :( Waiting for another year would be pretty tough. I mean, damn, the ending....
But Johnny's 1 liners are just so best!
 
Man, Johnny is the best character I've seen in a long time. He is good when he is trying no to be an asshole and perfect at just being himself.
"I like muscle cars, martial arts and Iron Eagle...and Iron Eagle 2." Pure genuine gold.

This show is so incredibly good. It has definitely made its way into my top 3 shows of all time by now.

Both seasons are spectacular. I really hope they'll make plenty more, and can hold up that level of quality.
 
I just finished season 2. I'm hyped as fuck. That school brawl is awesome and I thought the season would end this way, with Kreese fucking Johnny over and now Daniela and Johnny will have to team up or Johnny takes over Miyagi-Do.
