I'm not a mod, but this is just for future reference.

The bottom line is that there are legitimate ways to acquire an advance copy of games, movies, or music...just as there are illegal ways to acquire them as well. I hear Kenny G is a guest musician on the new album.Diablos said:Coldplay's new album actually leaked in 2002. It's called A Rush of Blood to the Head.
OH SNAP
Yes, they're getting closer to U2 all the time.bridegur said:Have their songs and sound progressed at all from the last two albums?
I really like Square One actually. All the Coldplay albums have had excellent opening tracks, something great in the middle, and then a good close, with plenty of filler... just my opinionError Macro said:From what I've heard so far, you should just listen to the Speed Of Sound single and call it a day. SOS and Thing I Don't Understand are two of the best tracks they've ever done. The rest of the tracks on X&Y are just kind of boring. Fix You is pretty good, though.
You can. As stated earlier in the thread:Hitman said:This forum is full of dorks. Why can;t we discussed leaked things.

It peaked for me after about 4 or 5 listens and has already started to go down. The new Talk sounds really bad after a while. First track still sounds solid, and Fix You has that nice bit at the end, but some of the tracks really drag on.Error Macro said:I can see myself liking this album more (much more, possibly) as time goes on.

Mike Works said:The only complaint I have so far is that his voice in almost all of the songs is his high (note) voice, or like he's singing loud. The majority of my favorite Coldplay songs feature the lead singer using a lower voice, like in Trouble, In My Place, and so on, whereas pretty much every song on this disc, his voice is like that in Clocks when he sings, "YooooOOOoooOooouuuuu arrreeeee". I still like it, but I would've enjoyed a little more variation.
Still digging the songs though. So far this year has been up and down.
Queens of the Stone Age: Surprisingly AWESOME
Weezer: Surprisingly TERRIBLE
Stereophonics: Okay
System of a Down: Surprisingly good!
White Stripes: what the fuck
Audioslave: Bit of a letdown, but still good.
Coldplay: HOORAY
next up, Foo Fighters, lets fucking rock
