Greg seems like a good dude. Haven't followed him closely but I've enjoyed the videos I've watched with him over the past decade or so. He doesn't need to be associated with this close minded negativity so this is a good move/decision.

After his recent shitstorm, good riddance. Guess we don't have to ask Playstation to remove them from PSX this year.

He was the one that balanced out Greg... this sucks.

Tim's knowledge stops at fanboy Nintendo... and Nick barely plays.

Balanced what, greg's respect of women?

This was the right move. I think that Colin is a smart guy with a couple of fairly serious social shortcomings, but I hope that he can grow as a person and find success doing what he wants to do.

Just, like, as less of a jerk.

I guess Colin was Wrong.

I never liked his type of journalism when he was with IGN or Kinda Funny. In the past few months he seemed to get more political.

Can't wait to see his Don't Tread on Me Youtube channel and his big new show Colin was Alt Right.

Wow I know some people here in the PSILY thread were talking about the possibility of him leaving KF but I didn't actually think it would happen.

Well, I guess good for Kinda Funny, because they no longer have to worry about their loose cannon. But this:

I simply want to reconnect with what's most important to me. Politics, history, philosophy. Reading books. Talking about things I feel are most impactful and essential for a person like me.

Basically sounds like he's going to pivot full-time into self-styled "alt-right" advocacy/writing/etc.

Good riddance. It's not like the other guys are all that entertaining but the less of a platform Colin has the better.

Dude should stick to videogames IMO. I don't like his politics, but he's not a bad games pundit.

I don't know how he'll succeed, libertarian views aren't exactly popular.

There's a place for classical liberalism, but Colin's brand of bizarre, sheltered-child, randian "objectivism" doesn't really have a place in the adult world.

I don't agree with the dumb joke he made, but that's all it was. A dumb joke. I loved the back-and-forth between him and Greg. I don't agree with everything he says, but to see this happen over nothing more than an eye-rolling tweet is sad.

Not sure who he is. Why does gaf seem to dislike him?
Idk why they don't like him. He is one of my favorite journalist and always love how insightful he is. Sad to see him go but if he is doing something better for him then there we go. Hopefully Greg finds someone good to do PS I love you because that's my favorite podcast. Mabey they should pick up Andrew Garfield.

How is this in any way surprising? Kinda Funny has been having to do damage control over his comments, why would you want to keep that person on?

Damn dog. Well he was seemingly become more and more disinterested in games and more interested in talking politics. I wonder if he'll be joining The Blaze (Glenn Beck's site) or Dave Rubin's thing.

I also wonder if Rooster Teeth had something to do with him departing? I doubt they enjoyed his antics.

I don't agree with the dumb joke he made, but that's all it was. A dumb joke. I loved the back-and-forth between him and Greg. I don't agree with everything he says, but to see this happen over nothing more than an eye-rolling tweet is sad.

I doubt this over just the one tweet but the straw that broke the camel's back. Plus with doing the Dave Rubin interview and then Glenn Beck, he definitely sees a new opening for him to do something else and he took it.

Whew, talk about sudden. But I understand why, outside of Gamescast and PS xoxo, the other content (KF's morning show, GameOverGreggy, Love and Sex stuff, etc.) never seemed to excite him much.

Well for me personally there is no reason to watch Kinda funny stuff anymore. He at least brought different view points even if I disagreed with him on a lot of them. Colin was right was the best thing on Kinda funny.

Not really that surprised, when he appeared on Rubin Report i had a feeling Colin might be more interested in going down a Rubin-style route. Wish him the best :)

Where's that crow for all of those downplaying the impact this was having on the team.?

Now we know what Erin was talking about in that tweet she deleted.
