He's probably gonna be on a lot more now that he's unemployed.

I care as much as Colin cares about the feelings of women and minorities he upsets

i don't

Should we make this a safe space for him?

I personally don't like to be overly negative on forums, social media etc, but I will say that I'm really looking forward to checking out their new stuff now moving forward. I've heard Tim's really come into his own lately, too

Huge shame, really liked the things he had to say in regards to games and other entertainment. It was also pretty obvious he was into it anymore, he started to contribute less and less to discussions that had nothing to do with politics. The channel is gonna feel empty without him.

This seems like the best situation for everybody. Colin fans can keep following him for his bombastic opinions and political views while the rest of KF can still thrive without getting completely consumed by Colin's antics all the time.

Honestly I might actually watch some KF stuff now. Greg seems like a cool dude but Colin was a huge turn off for me.

I could imagine he'll bring his cultivated audience of alt-righters, conservatives, and 'both sides' moderates with him to whatever he's doing. Maybe now he can start his own show where he complains about SJWs, PC Culture, feminists, mobile gamers, etc, and continuously invite only white men on the show to discuss matters of how profits and unrestricted capitalism is more important than the lives of poor people and the rights of minorities?

Perhaps start a Patreon to cash in on that bigot money, or even work for Breitbart or Fox News?

Awesome, rest of the crew is great, but colin just got worse over time and made me and friends stop listening to their stuff.
I'm excited for their future now!

I could see Beck and others in positions like his licking their lips. Look what they did with Tomi Lahren. She's literally an idiot but they used the fact that she is a young, attractive blonde to give their shitty views exposure and a platform. I could see them doing the same with Colin, only using him as an "in" to the young, male nerd demographic.

That's a symptom, not the cause.

It seems like he's gotten further and further away personality wise from Greg and the others, and his reaction to the joke (not so much the joke itself, which was just a dumb hacky joke) probably put too much stress on the company.

Their whole business can only exist with fan support, and if you have one of the key members of the team calling their fans "humorless sacks of shit" that's going to cause problems.
Yep.

The way he handled that situation was a mess.

No matter how it ended, Colin Moriarty will always be one of the chief inspirations behind me getting into games writing. I've disagreed with him vehemently on lots of things (PlayStation and politically) but I'm sad to see this day.

No better time to launch an alt-right news and opinion site focused on gaming and gaming culture.

Not kidding. Could make a mint.

I'm pretty bummed to be completely honest, even in spite of this weekend's shenanigans. I think Colin Was Wright was developing into a special and unique series. Shame that we are losing it so quickly.

I just don't understand how there is enough room in conservative / libertarian / alt-right media for so many people who essentially say the same thing. His conversation with Beck was an endless circlejerk with no real substance.

KF was really the Greg and Colin show their personalities hit real well together. This will be a blow to KF.

Big time. Man this sucks. I wasn't happy w/ how off the rails politically Colin has been going post-Trump, but the main thing I listened to from KF was PS I love You. Ever since Beyond went down the shitter, PS I love You has been my favorite weekly gaming podcast to listen to. The other KF guys seem nice enough but I don't really have an interest in listening to their content.

Hopefully Greg keeps the show going and subs in a weekly guest like they did a few times when either Greg or Colin couldn't make an episode. Maybe someone will emerge to replace Colin that will take his spot but it's some huge shoes to fill, all his repugnant political behavior aside.

Would love to know the business side of all this, is Colin still going to collect 1/4 of the KF pie? Did they have to buy him out?

He has been toxic on social media and on some of the shows lately. Not surprised they had to let him go since it's been impacting their business and relationships with other people in the industry.

I think it was far more than just the tweet. I definitely believe that it was a build-up as well as stuff we may not know about.

It's almost like he regularly says some pretty shitty things and that tweet was just the most recent example of it.

Man, Colin's gotta be giving up a pretty nice paycheck...I can't imagine whatever he does next will be anything but a downgrade, except maaaaybe the solo-Patreon route

Dude should stick to videogames IMO. I don't like his politics, but he's not a bad games pundit.

I don't know how he'll succeed, libertarian views aren't exactly popular.

what are you talking about, he's a terrible games pundit. His entire Colin Was Right series is him being incredibly wrong in every single video. "Mobile gaming ruined games!" no actually late capitalism did that, idiot.

dam, didn't expect this. Kinda Funny is very popular, and Colin seem like he was starting to really find his place in it besides being Greg's #2. The Colin Was Right show was getting good (I hope he continues some version of that). He's definitely made a name for himself that he can branch out on his own in gaming. Going forward I wonder what the PS I Love You show will look like without him. I for one thought the show was getting stale; I stopped listening to it a while back, might go back to check out the new hosts. Good Luck Colin.
